🐾 Meet Prancer! 🐾 Hello! I'm Prancer, and I might be the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. Once I find my forever person or family, I never want to leave their side, showing unwavering loyalty and affection. I'm currently flourishing in my foster home. I'm mastering both potty and crate training and making excellent progress! Although I have cerebellar hypoplasia, which means I wobble a bit when I walk and can seem uncoordinated, it just adds to my unique charm. I may be shy when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly and genuinely enjoy their company once I get to know them. I live with an adored human foster sister, which proves I'm fantastic with kids. My demeanor is calm, sweet, and gentle, and I don't get overwhelmed easily, making me a soothing companion. If you're looking for a loving, loyal friend who will fill your days with joy and your heart with love, I am the dog for you. Prancer is ready to find a loving home where he can continue to thrive and share his gentle spirit. If you can provide the perfect environment for a special dog like Prancer, don't hesitate to reach out and start your journey together! 🐶❤️ Apply here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/654e6a97aed75bda1d0b4bfe Questions? Story
Meet Princess Tiana: A Gentle Soul Looking for a Peaceful Home Princess Tiana is a delightful companion seeking a peaceful environment to call her own. This sweet girl thrives in a calm setting and would be most comfortable in a peaceful household away from city life. An apartment may not be the ideal fit for her due to some separation anxiety and a tendency to vocalize when crated. Tiana could flourish in a home with another small to medium-sized dog that has a gentle play style. During her assessment, she showed some initial insecurity around larger dogs but may open up and enjoy playful interactions in the right environment. She is tolerant of cats and has experience living with them. On leash, Tiana walks gracefully with her nose to the ground, enjoying the scents of her surroundings. She maintains a steady pace by your side or slightly behind, making her an excellent companion for leisurely evening strolls. A home with a small yard would be great so she can venture around and get her sniffs in. During her touch test, Tiana displayed a calm and unbothered demeanor. She didn’t mind being touched and even allowed being held like a baby for a photo without hesitation. This sweet temperament extends to her interactions with people, where she maintains a gentle and independent demeanor. She would do well in a home with adults or older kids that would respect her space when she needs it. With time she will sit and cuddle with you on the couch and enjoy some relaxing time at home. Princess Tiana is a loving dog who would thrive in a home with understanding adults or older children who respect her boundaries and appreciate her affectionate yet independent nature. With the right companionship and environment, Tiana promises to be a loyal and cherished member of her forever home. Email: kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Story
A teeny tiny gentleman ready to be your best friend, meet Rosco Pops! Loving, goofy, mellow and relaxed, Rosco is just the cutest bestest little man! Rosco weighs in at just 14 pounds, and we believe him to be a Rat Terrier, Chihuahua mix, around 5 years old. Rosco Pops is, however, a rescue. His exact age and breed are unknown to us, and cannot be guaranteed. We can guarantee that Rosco is 100% good boy, an established well-rounded gentleman! Fall in love with Rosco Pops here: https://youtu.be/Wg_ENr8HiyA?si=vfoEROQ_zIziCE8t Rosco is such a charmer, with a big goofy smile, and his cute lil face! This boy loves belly rubs and treats, and knows exactly how to get them- by being SO cute, of course! Rosco warms up to new humans quickly. He’s a people-loving dog that just wants to be held, pet and snuggled. I’m so sure that it will be love at first sight when he meets his forever family. Rosco already has good house manners, he’s pretty easy on leash and great at meeting strangers- no barking, pulling, or lunging. At 5 years old, Rosco has the whole “good dog” thing down, and he’ll make an excellent companion quickly. Rosco Pops is currently living in a foster home with kitties, and he gets along just fine with them! He’s not playful with them, but will cozy up on the couch beside them, he’s assimilated well into kitty culture and greatly appreciates the art of a “cat nap.” Here are the rescue, he was cat-tested, and our behavior team agrees that he is well-suited to live with feline housemates. With other dogs, Rosco is just a bit of an old man. He doesn’t want to play rough and rowdy, and does a great job reading doggy social cues, and knowing when to correct and when to retreat. With shy dogs, Rosco is quick to give them space, always so polite. Rosco has been a diplomatic gentleman with all of the dogs here at the rescue, from shy little puppies to the rowdiest of our big Pitties. Rosco would do wonderfully in just about any home, he’s a go with the flow kind of guy, cat and dog friendly. He seems to enjoy calmer settings, and may do best in a calm and quiet household. Rosco would love to be your best buddy. He kindly asks that you take him on the occasional outing, allow him to trot after you through the house, and snuggle up on the couch with him as often as possible! Rosco will make an excellent addition to your pack, or thrive as a solo dog. He’s easy-peasy and ready for his forever home! Rosco is an established good dog, with a wonderful personality, and an excitement for the everyday that will surely bring joy to your life. This handsome little guy is just looking for a soft place to land, and a human to call his own. We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
So affectionate, great with kids, mellow, loyal and beautiful- meet Lizzy “Sam” Leslie. 15 pounds of sunshine, Lizzy is teeny-tiny, all ears and legs. This beautiful little lady is a chihuahua mix of some sort, around 1 year old. Lizzy is a rescue, so her exact age and breed are a mystery, and these are just our best-educated-guesses. See Lizzy's cuteness for yourself here: https://youtu.be/rp72lPlOn6g Lizzy currently lives in a foster home with a bunch of other “L” named dogs, so she’s taken on the nickname “Sam,” and responds to it well! Lizzy’s foster family describes her as sweet, loyal, and a “Velcro” dog. Lizzy is just bursting at the seams with love to share, she’s great with kids, cats and dogs. She currently lives with a cat, who likes to play with her, so she would likely do best in a home with playful kitties, or dog-savvy cats! While she is very loving, Sam can take a moment to warm up to new people, but she’s easily won over with soft voices, affirmations of her beauty and gentle pets. With kids, Sam warms up in a snap! The smaller the better, she says! She did well meeting a three year old here at the rescue, immediately opened up to him and gave him all the kisses. She gently took treats from his hands, and appreciated his pets. In her foster home, Lizzy enjoys snuggling in bed at night with her humans and other dogs. She’s still new to being an indoor dog, and learning her house manners, but catching on quickly! Lizzy is a fast learner and eager to please. If you’re looking for a cutie-pie you can take everywhere and anywhere with you, Lizzy is your girl! She is great in the car, confident sitting in the passenger seat, and loads up all by herself. She’s easy on leash, and small enough to pick up! She’s not a barker, and she remains focused on her human in new environments. Lizzy’s perfect home has at least one human to call her own, and she’s not picky about anything else. She could peacefully coexist with doggy siblings, kitty siblings, or human siblings. She’s small, quiet and calm enough to thrive in an apartment or condo. This girl is ready for her forever home, whatever that looks like! We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Looking for a loyal companion who thrives on cuddles and walks? Chewie might be your perfect match! This 12-pound charming senior (estimated birth year 2012-2015) came to us in 2021 and has blossomed into a loving friend. While initially cautious around men, Chewie has shown he can build trust with patience and affection. Here's what makes Chewie special: A cuddle champion: Chewie adores snuggling up with his favorite human and following them around the house. Smart and trainable: He's mastered impressive commands like "come," "sit," "paw" (both!), "down," and "off." Walks with a wag: Daily walks are a highlight for Chewie - he loves exploring the world with you! Healthy and cared for: Chewie received a full dental cleaning in January 2022 and currently manages his glaucoma with daily eye medication. Ideal home: Chewie would flourish in a calm, adult-only home where he can be the center of attention. While he tolerates other pets, he prefers human company.

Story
Luffy is a 3 year old chihuahua/malinois mix that came to us from Mexico. We’ve had her since she was a puppy but due to our mental health changes we are unable to provide a lifestyle in which her breed would thrive. She loves her people, snuggling is important to her. Loves to play with balls, is house broken, kennel trained, and knows a good handful of commands. She eats and sleeps in her kennels and knows that the sentence “do you want food?” means to go to her kennel. Very food motivated! She has reactivity with dogs outside of the house, but has done well with another dog and cat who live here. We’ve tried to address this but again, due to mental health it is something we have struggled with. A handler who is more experienced with high energy/drive breeds would be best for her.

Story
I got Luna as a puppy from a pet shop. She is now almost 9 years old. She was an only dog for a while. Then I got another dog who is a little bit larger, and ever since Luna has been experiencing some bullying from my other dog. She suffers from anxiety and the constant dominating of my other dog wears on her. Our lifestyle has gotten more and more busy and she is overstimulated I think. She is her happiest when I am holding her and she is being left alone. I love her and I want her to be more relaxed and happy. I am hoping to find a home for her with someone who works from home, and who does not have any other dogs or cats. She would do best in a calm environment where she can sunbathe and cuddle. She is crate trained and house trained.

HI - I'M PRIYA! I'm a 5-year-old, 5-pound little girl in need of a forever home! I was rescued from the streets and now am in a wonderful foster home. I get along great with other dogs and I love people, too. I'm an active little girl so would do well with someone who likes to go for walks or outings. I'm spayed & up-to-date on my vaccines, and I had a dental! Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M ARLO! I'm a loving and sweet Chihuahua mix in need of a forever home! I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. They labeled me at 10 years old but we think I'm more like 6 or 7, as I do not look very senior and have plenty of spunk. I do well with other dogs, especially females, though I could thrive as an only dog, too! I would love to be in a home with someone who can take me for walks and cuddle on the couch. I'm a really nice boy. I weigh about 13 lbs and am a nice size - not too big and not too small. Please email for an application.

Boone is a super happy, dapper little guy who came into a California shelter with a fractured pelvis. After much crate rest he is all healed up and you wouldn't even know he had the injury. He gets around great and is an athletic little dog! - Approximately 2 years old and 15lbs - He's a wonderful little mixed breed but we gave it our best guess of Chihuahua/Dachshund - Can be calm but also playful, he's a nice mix of energy - LOVES to cuddle with people - Crates and will go in the crate to sleep on his own - Good with other dogs - No cats. We tried him in a home with cats and he wants to chase them. - We have not seen him with kids but think children ages 9+ would be ok - Very food motivated and eager to train - Potty habits are pretty good and we keep him on a routine in foster. - Currently fostered in an apartment with a work from home foster who takes him on regular walks and outings. - Excellent on car rides, no car sickness Boone is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland. $300 adoption fee Fostered in Oregon City, Oregon Apply to adopt Boone on our website: www.agavedogs.org

Story
Soooo sweet, so soft, so beautiful. Meet Addie Patrick! Addie is around 4 years old, and we suspect her to be a Pomeranian, Aussie mix. She is a rescue, so exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Addie weighs in around 30 pounds right now, but she’s on a little weight loss journey! Her coat is so fluffy and soft, and she has the cutest teeny tiny paws we’ve ever seen! Watch Addie here: https://youtu.be/0MCxUxPQuuk?si=DJXOE5Nx_h-q7lek She is soooo loving and people-friendly. Addie loves love- belly rubs, snuggles, gentle pets, she’s always available for some affection. Addie is so friendly, a social butterfly, she’s perfect for a big family or a frequent host/hostess. Addie did well meeting other dogs here at the rescue, but she wasn’t interested in playing with our energetic big dogs. She interacted with them kindly, stepping out of the way of their rambunctious antics, no growling, barking or snapping from this sweet girl! We think that Addie would do best in a home with other sweet, calm dogs like her, or as a solo-dog. With other dogs around, Addie is great at sharing affection, treats and attention. Addie likes kitties! She’s not playful with them, but here at the rescue she perked up a bit upon seeing our house cat Tom. See Addie’s cat test in her video. We believe she would love some kitty housemates. Addie walks well on leash, when you’re using a real leash attached to her real collar. She doesn’t like to walk on leash when using a harness or a slip lead! Addie is a bit of a princess about some things, but with a face that cute, she kind of deserves to be. She’s still learning to embrace the vastness of the world, and sometimes being out of the yard, on leash, can feel a bit vulnerable for her. Addie is super food-motivated and trusting of her people, so a little positive reinforcement will go a long way here. Addie’s perfect home has at least one loving human to call her own. She would prefer a home with a yard, so she doesn’t have to face the big, scary world on leash every time she needs to potty. Addie is working on her confidence, and will need an adopter that is committed to training and socializing her. She will need her forever family to be patient and kind, allow her to fully decompress in her new environment, build her confidence over time, and provide many, many pets. She could live with other dogs, but would prefer to live with older, calmer dogs like her- established Good Dogs. Addie loves cats and wouldn’t mind a feline housemate or two. If Addie Patrick seems like a perfect fit for you, apply today! These itty-bitty cutie pies don’t last long, and Addie is eager for her forever family. We are willing to test her with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen- just let us know. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco  • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Paki was adopted down in Mexico from an experienced Xoloitzcuintli breeder September 2022 making him a little over 2 years old. Paki grew up as a covid dog and as a result has poor socialization and requires dedicated training time to get him used to the outside world as well as a new home. He exhibits fear aggression so we are looking for an experienced dog trainer that has the knowledge and skill on how to manage this for a successful rehoming. It important for me to emphasize this to any interested parties. He absolutely needs someone with the capacity and patience to train him out of his fear aggression. It takes him a while to build trust with people but he has an abundance of love and cuddles to give to his humans. He loves napping on the couch stretched out with his belly up. He also has a lot of energy to run and play. He loves treats, highly food motivated. He would love a sibling that is also energetic of ideally the same size or bigger but won't mind being a solo pet.
