They are not quite out of the woods yet and will need a few more days to complete treatment before leaving the Parvo ward; but that doesn't mean they can't start getting the word out that they need an adopter lined up for when they are ready to leave on 8/21/24! A true sweetheart Bruno has the calmest energy and a funny sense of play: he'll throw his chewy to himself and catch it. Sometimes, while walking past you, he'll nose your hand quickly as if to say "hi there", It always catches me off-guard & it's so, so cute. Bruno is a tender soul & loves to snuggle. And those ears! He has the biggest ears I've ever seen! He is a treasure, mostly an inside dog he loves curling up on the sofa with his chewy. He loves raw cabbage& other veggies. Also, he's not opposed to eating your left over pizza crust. He has had seizures in the past, so needs an understanding owner. I haven't been able to afford medicine for him but feel like he may do so much better on it. Bruno needs more of the one on one attention he deserves. He has lived with dogs and cats in the past and does well with them. We have been packing and it's been hard on him knowing change is about to happen. Frosty is gentle and laid back. She got her name because my daughter thought the marking on her forehead looked like an icicle. She loves curling up on the sofa and relaxing with a chewy. She is not getting the attention she deserves and she can sense the change as she sees us packing. Frosty is a cozy companion. She is mostly an inside dog but loves walks and car rides. She is fine with sleeping independently, but would love to sleep beside you as well. I love the way her ears look like fairy wings when she perks them up. It's so cute when she cozies up under her blanket, she likes to make sure she's covered up just so. Frosty has lived with both dogs and cats and has done well with them. She has always had other dogs around but has an independent streak as well. I cant stand the thought of surrendering her to a shelter. Vlad is very playful, with a sleek appearance and colored like vanilla cream. Sometimes when he’s frisky he’ll do this thing where he bares his fangs but doesn’t bite and it’s the cutest thing ever. He’s like a little vampire sometimes. He likes to be outside for periods of time but he’s mostly an inside dog. He’s very communicative when it comes to playtime. He’ll paw at you or squeak his toy to get your attention and when you’re looking at your phone or computer he’ll get in front of the screen like “look at me hooman” oh my gosh it’s so sweet. Sunny and his sister Sugar were emergency rehomes from a friend of a friend. He has been with us for 3 years. He is about 5 years old. Sunny is extremely cuddly. He basically eats and sleeps. He has never shown an interest in toys, only in being on our laps. He is affectionate and lazy. Sunny has been living with other dogs in the home and does very well with them. He is everyone’s best friend and has never shown any sign of aggression. He has not had any interaction with cats or small animals. Sunny is house trained, and crate trained, but has never shown an interest in learning tricks. He is the ultimate couch potato. His temperament is one of aloofness. He will basically go along with whatever. Although taking both is not necessary, Sunny and Sugar (also listed on this site) are quite bonded and we would love for someone to take them both.
