Story

We adopted Winston 3 years ago from the local animal shelter. He is a very sweet dog. We have another small dog, most of the time they get along fine, but every once in a while, they fight, which is instigated by Winston. When they fight it has to be broken up, or one of them will get severely hurt. This has happened less than a dozen times in 3 years, but they are bad when they happen. Winston loves people and children and gets along with cats but seems to have problems with other dogs. When going on walks, Winston if let off the leash will fight another dog, even a large dog. Work takes me, his favorite owner, out of the country for weeks at a time, this has created insecurity in Winston which we believe is the problem. He is potty trained, but again, will pee in the house sometimes, we think to "mark", because of this insecurity. Winston will do best with a retired person or couple, who will not leave him for long periods of time alone. He is a very loving dog. .
