Story
Meet SUNNY!! This sweet little girl found her way to Zoe's House after getting into some naughty stuff and had to be hospitalized. She's been doing great since getting care and is ready to find her forever home. She is an almost 4 month old cocker spaniel. She gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys having the zoomies with them around the fenced in yard or all over the house. She isn't a fan of the cats because she gets in there space and they give her a snack on the nose. Sunny is crate trained, learning to walk in a leash and working on her potty training. She was in an open playpen but learned quickly how to let herself in and out, even when someone is watching. She is up to date on vaccinations appropriate for her age. She is also on preventatives. Because of her age she is not altered and will be adopted out with a spay contract which is an additional 250$ fee. This fee is 100% refundable when proof of spay is completed in the timeframe given. Sunny would love a home with room to run and play. Another friendly, energetic pup would also be great. If you think Sunny is the perfect pup for your family, please apply today! She is being fostered in Berks County and all family members and current residential dogs will need to come to this area for a meet and greet prior to adoption. www.zoeshouserescue.com Po box 2372 Reading pa 19608 Kennel license #9117

Story
Meet Petunia she is a 4 yr old cocker spaniel. Petunia will amaze you with her Stunning blue eyes. She is Such a sweet and gentle girl. Petunia came to us from a commercial breeder after she was no longer needed. She is enjoying learning how to be a "dog" and all the wonderful things that come with that. She is a true diva and loves being picked up to snuggle on the couch with her foster mom. She has the cutest butt wiggle when she is happy!! One of Petunia's favorite things is being outside and rolling around in the grass. Petunia has been doing wonderful with her potty training and has very few accidents, while in her foster home. Regression can be common and is something her new family will need to understand. She is still working on her leash skills, so a fenced in yard would be ideal for this girl. Petunia is a bit reserved and would do best in a quiet environment. A home with older children or no children would suit her well and let her continue to blossom and come out of her shell. Her new family needs to be patient as she adjusts to her new surroundings, providing time and space for her to feel comfortable. She is crate trained but doesn't need it. She gets along with her foster sibling dogs and cat. If you think Petunia would be a great fit for your family, please apply on our website. Petunia is currently being fostered in Easton, PA and a meet and greet with all family members and resident dogs will be required. She is up to date on all vaccines and preventatives, has been spayed and microchipped This blue eyed beauty is ready for her Furever !! Zoe's House Rescue Kennel License #9117 PO Box 2372 Reading, PA 19608.

ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Mercy, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I am scared because I have not been around a lot of people or lived in a home as a pet. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. I will need time to trust people who want what is best for me and are not going to hurt me. That is something I have not experienced so far in my life. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hello, my name is Lady. One of the children in my former home became severely allergic to me so the family asked CSAC to help find me a new home. I am a happy and friendly. I even like cats. I love to play with toys, go for walks and ride in car. I am house trained and crate trained. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. I do have a few medical issues that need managed, but they are not serious. I have dry eye so I will need eye drops, I do have hypothyroidism so I need a daily pill to help my thyroid. It will also help my fur grow back normally. I have ear infections that are being treated as well as skin infections. I will need quality food that will not flare my allergies. You can see in my pictures that I love people and love belly rubs. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. Hope to see you soon. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator.
