Story
Sasha was found wandering our parents neighborhood. She was in need of water and food which we gave her at the edge of the property. She was very sweet and did not want to leave the property. We couldn't take her in because there was already too many dogs at the property. But after a while she just kept coming back and following us around. We noticed she was owned at one point so we attempted to find her owners with local ads and posts on offer up. After a month of no one claiming her we took her in with another dog she had acquainted. We live in a condo and the hardest part for her is not having a backyard. She loves to run and play, which makes the condo hard for her and she becomes restless. She would do well with kids or an older person who would want a companion. She is very loyal. We don't WANT to give her up but it's in her best interest to go somewhere with a backyard or somewhere to be outside.

We got Fluffy from a pet store in Georgia. He has AKC papers. He is 6 years old born on January 28, 2018. He is friendly and loving and needs lots of cuddles and attention. He loves walks and hikes. He loves kids and other dogs. We just don’t have the resources (time and money) to take good care of him. I have an autistic child that I homeschool and a toddler and I just don’t have time for Fluffy anymore. Which is unfair to him and he deserves a family or buddy that loves him and can take good care of him. Cons: He does have a sensitivity stomach. And he is a counter surfer.

Hello, I'm Elisa. I may be a senior, but my heart is full of love to give. I'm a sweet, mellow, and gentle soul. I enjoy a short walk every day; It's my little adventure, a time to sniff around and stretch my legs. I'm a bit of a food critic, you see. I like my meals just so, but once I find something I love, I stick to it. Most of my day, you'll find me lounging around, a true couch potato. I'm house trained and well-behaved; I'm not the type to cause a fuss. I'm just looking for a loving home where I can spend my golden years. MEET MAISIE!!! Maisie is a sweet and shy girl. She was on and saved from the euthanasia list at County for being fearful. However, it only took her two days to become comfortable with her fosters, and they say her personality continues to emerge more and more each day. Maisie is exceptionally smart. She is trained to sit, shake, sit to be be leashed, sit before meals and waits for a release cue. She is trained to potty on command. She is currently working on crate training. The door is open at all times and treats are tossed in for her to become comfortable entering/exiting the crate. Maisie is an active dog and requires at least twice daily walks or runs. She would make an excellent hiking partner as well. She is not destructive when left alone but can be vocal at times. Maisie will need daily brushing; she sheds like a German Shepherd. She has shown some resource guarding when it comes to her space, her people or her treats. She is a submissive female and gets along well with the other foster dogs.  Maisie has tendencies to escape, so she is still walked in the yard on a leash for now. She is double-leashed for walks because she can be startled/interested by passing cars. She is non-reactive to passing dogs on walks. When she trusts you, she is the sweetest snuggliest dog. Adopters should be aware of canine body language and recognize when she is uncomfortable with strangers. Let her approach strangers at her own pace. She is responsive to "low, side greetings." Maisie is a great dog who would excel in a calm home where she feels safe and comfortable. Meet Maisie today!  January 11, 2025, 11:57 pm
