My name is Magnum! My mama showed up on this lady's doorstep in the desert. She was pregnant with no where to go. Well, the lady did not know she was pregnant until she started to show. She had 8 of us. We are loved by all. We have another stray husky that baby sits us sometimes. She is really great and lets us crawl all over her. Its our foster mom's best guess that our mom is a shepherd collie and dad is unknown. We are true desert mutts. That really is what makes us sweet though. He was in a home with two kids. Chance LOVES other dogs and is great with people he knows. He is not good with strangers and cannot go to a home that has people coming in and out. He loves to go for walks, play with squeaky toys, other dogs, and jump in his baby pool for a dip on hot days… Or even cold days. He can become protective over his home so again we are looking for a 1 to 2 person household who doesn’t mind putting the dog away when guests come over or the pool/lawn man. Andrew's owner had terminal cancer and needed to find a place for him before her final days. He is a very energetic puppy, who gets along with big or little dogs, loves walks, needs a strong pack leader. He definetly has puppy energy still, so he needs lots of stimulation and socializationl. The adoption fee is a tax-deductible donation to our 501c3 rescue and includes vaccines, worming microchips, and spaying/neutering. Meet and greets will only be scheduled after a completed and signed application is submitted. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis...We do our homework and ensure the home is the best possible situation for the pet based on breed specifics and the lifestyle of the potential home.
