Story
Looking for a dog that will surely keep you on your toes? Lydia is your gal. If you're not paying enough attention you would never realize she was missing a leg! This mature girl was set to be euthanized at another shelter due to a persistent leg injury. The leg had to be amputated but Lydia doesn't seem to realize anything is missing. She is a major fetch enthusiast and often outruns all other dogs to get the ball.  Lydia would love a property that she can protect. She tends to build strong and incredibly loyal bonds to those she trusts and would do anything for her people. She is currently paired with our long-term deaf resident Rodeo. These two have been attached at the hip since the day they met, almost as if they understand each other's struggles. Staff often sees Lydia nudging Rodeo in order to wake him up to play! If this intelligent and active girl sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, call the Ranch to meet her today! Story
If you're looking for an intelligent, watchful, affectionate dog to oversee your domain, Charro might be just the ticket! This smart girl is easy to win over with treats and affection, and once she trusts you, you're in her heart to stay. Charro would make a great guardian for home and property. She's happy to enjoy the comforts of a home while being ever ready to alert you to anything suspicious. She was a faithful and protective mother to her puppies but these days she's showing off her low-key vibe. She is tolerant of other dogs and might do well in a home with another dog. Call the Ranch to meet zesty Charro today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Mabel, a mixed-breed dog with a resilient spirit. She was rescued from a property after her owner passed away, along with several other dogs. Mabel is skittish and uncertain around strangers, but she is always very gentle with humans. Mabel is slowly overcoming her fears and finding hope for a brighter future. Mabel is dog selective but has gotten along with a couple of yard mates here at the Ranch. She walks on leash and would make a great hiking companion. Call the Ranch to meet gentle Mabel today!
