Buddy is ready for his next adventure! Whether that is hanging around with his people or going for a walk in the park. On walks, Buddy gently pulls to investigate new smells and say hello to new friends. This goofy and charming boy would benefit from another dog at home to remind him, that his pawrents will be coming home soon! Buddy has done well previously with doggie siblings and even thrives with their company. He doesn’t get rambunctious, he likes to be invited but is a ‘let me just watch’ kind of guy. Buddy has learned to jump in and out of the car, showing that he has gained so much confidence and is one smart cookie. He appears to be housebroken. Although he gets stressed out at adoption events, he is the sweetest pup at home. He loves to run around in the sand… so if you understand correctly- you may have found your new beach bum pal! Buddy has good leash manners, leaving trash alone and wanting to say hello to other canine friends. Buddy is a fiercely loyal companion who will be sure to warm the hearts of your whole family.

This curious cutie gets bursts of zoomies, but she can also sit quietly at times, proving she’s got a perfect balance of energy and chill. She’s great with kids and adults and enjoys learning new tricks and playing with her favorite toys. Tallulah has proven to be a quick learner and has been making great progress with her potty training, always doing her business outside during her Dogventure house visits. She’s even started going to the door when it’s time for a potty break—such a smart pup! Tallulah is sure to be an amazing and loving companion for any family looking to welcome a sweet, playful, and affectionate puppy into their hearts. Because of her young, playful nature, it would be an added bonus if she had a dog sibling to help get her energy out during playtime sessions. To learn more about Camilla, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org. Camilla will be attending one of our adoption events coming up this weekend! To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event she will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/. (*Please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending each event.*) Meet Camilla, the playful, energetic, and absolutely gorgeous 1-year-old collie mix who’s ready to fill your life with love and excitement! With her adorable scruffy fur and big, bright eyes, she’s impossible to resist. Camilla is a friendly girl who absolutely thrives on affection and loves to be the center of attention. She’s got a big personality and is always excited to meet new people and dogs! Camilla can be a little jumpy in her excitement, but she’s easy to harness for walks, eagerly waiting for her outdoor adventure to begin. Once on leash, she explores with enthusiasm, occasionally jumping up to check in, but with some basic leash training, she’ll be politely strutting her stuff in no time. She’s always curious and friendly when passing other dogs, eager to say hello and make new friends. And she’s confident with traffic and stairs, making her a great companion for walks around the neighborhood or exploring new places. A big-time cuddle bug, Camilla loves pets, belly rubs, and back scratches, but she wouldn’t turn down an opportunity for a playtime romp. While she’s still learning basic commands (and sometimes just too excited to respond), she’s food-motivated and takes treats gently—she’s definitely a fast learner with the right guidance! Due to her enthusiastic nature, Camilla might be better suited for a home without small children, as her jumping and playful mouthiness could be a little too much for tiny ones. But with the right training and plenty of play to burn off her energy, Camilla is sure to be an amazing, loving companion. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, and sweet dog to join your family, Camilla is the perfect match. She’s ready to bring joy, love, and a little bit of scruffy charm into your life, so come meet her today!

She is a young and sweet South Carolina girl on the hunt for her forever home. She can be a little shy with people, but warms up quickly and once she does, you'll have a true friend in Apple. Apple can be a bit dog selective and likely would do best in a home where she is the only dog. Despite her initial shyness, Apple has a lot of unconditional love and loyalty to give. She's just waiting for that special someone who will be hers forever. Could that person be you? Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Cassidy found herself on the euthanasia list at a local shelter. Not because she had anything wrong with her, but just because the shelters are currently so overwhelmed. Luckily, we were able to find a foster for her and it turns out she is a great girl! At 6 years old, she is settled, housebroken, crate-trained, and has good house manners. We haven’t yet seen her around kids but have no reason to believe she wouldn’t be OK with them. She has been okay with some dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in the house. She likes to follow her people around and hang out with them. If you would like to make Cassidy a part of your family, please fill out an app! Story
Jack is a 1 year old Australian Cattle Labrador mix. He’s a sweet boy who love to receive cuddles. Soft plushie toys are his favorite in keeping calm and he enjoys a good rubber ball or rope toy to throw around by himself. He loves to run and we are looking to rehome with someone who can give him that. He’s smart and would benefit from a bit of training. He can get a little territorial so he would do best as an only pet. We love him so much but realize he would do better in home with a yard versus an apartment. He also started exhibiting littermate syndrome towards one his brothers and we are trying to prevent it from escalating further. He’s very sweet and loving.

Story
This handsome red heeler mix puppy is called Ernie and he and his brother Bert and their mom were found in a barn where they had been raised by their stray mother. Their mother was barely hanging on to life. The happy ending to her story is she is living with a wonderful family now and is loved and Ernie is looking for a wonderful family too raise him, love him, and bring his own special joy to. Ernie is a really delightful and well adjusted 6-month-old puppy that weighs 26 lb. He is a friendly little guy that enjoys meeting people and loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you. His innocence and love for life is contagious. He craves being with people that like him and speak kind words to him. He will crawl in your lap and be your best little buddy. His foster mom who raised he and his brother Bert says that he has the best temperament and personality. Recently this little guy went to a yoga class at the YMCA and had so much fun. It was a totally new and unique environment and he handled it with great poise and embraced all of the Zen vibes going on. Ernie is housebroken, crate trained, loves being around other cats and dogs alike and adores children. There isn't a living creature on this earth that he doesn't like. He is learning quite well,  how to walk on a leash and he rides in a car like a pro. He would be a great dog to take for hikes, long walks, outdoor events and adventures, and of course he would be a hit at any family reunions. Ernie is ready to call a family and their home his very own. Story
This beautiful girl is called Kenzie and she is a Border Collie mix  from what we can tell due to her size, temperament and the very silky soft fur that adorns her.  This girl is about 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds and is such a spunky and active girl that is happy, charming, and ready for any adventure that you want to ask her to join you in.  Her story is not uncommon in the south, but it definitely was one of  neglect.   Our girl Kenzie is a survivor and a brilliant puppy. Her persona is one of vibrance in life and resilience, topped with confidence.  She adores other dogs, young children and never meets an adult stranger.  She has beautiful eyes that are the color of blue in one and brown in the other.  Her charming personality is bold, happy and full of smiles and energy.  She embraces life with the full expectancy that she will give good love to others and good love will come back to her.And that is what we have promised her at Critter Cavalry Rescue. We will not settle for anything but the best. Our hope is that she will have a home filled with laughter and activities thar also include a home with a fenced yard, and long walks or jogs, along with excursions in the car that the best of great outdoor events. She brings great karma to all who meet her.   If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained and undeniable beauty, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. She is located in Nashville, TN and able to transport on a weekend to the northeast to a new family.
