Meet Mama Mercury, a beautiful Cattledog mix who was transferred to PCHS with her babies when they were just teeny tiny, and needed a place to go. Now, her pups are old enough to start going to their forever homes, and Mercury is looking too! She would love a home where she can be active and get her energy out, but also be spoiled and get plenty of snuggles! She did a great job raising her babies and caring for them, now it's her turn to be babied! Her ideal family will do some research on the Cattledog breed, so they know how to provide the best life for her. In return, she will repay you with unconditional love and loyalty! Applications for adoption can be found on the homepage of the website. Once you have submitted your application a PCHS staff will contact you regarding an appointment to meet the animals you are interested in.*adoption fee: $350 + $30 microchip fee + tax

This cute little firecracker is Pinto. Pinto came to us from a partner rescue after he was found on a reservation in South Dakota. He was malnourished and became quite ill shortly after being found. With veterinary care and recuperating a few weeks in a foster home, he is plumped up and healthy. Pinto is about 12 weeks old and weighs in just over #10. He has shorter legs and looks like he won't be a very large dog. Pinto is smart and loves to explore. He is staying at a foster home and has been around big dogs and is respectful of them. He will bark when left alone, but is getting more confident. Pinto is very affectionate and gives lots of kisses and little love nibbles. If you are looking to add a smart, fun little man to your home, apply on line, and we will set up a time to meet.* He will go home on a neuter contractAdoption fee $500 + $30 microchip fee + tax

I'm Birdie! Me and my sister (Carmen) are new arrivals here at PCHS. We are 5 month old youngsters that can be a little shy at first but once we warm up to new friends, but once we do we are as sweet as pie! We would love to go to homes that have time to spend working on basic commands and helping us learn confidence. While me and my sister do love each other, we are not bonded and do not need to go to a home together.
