Story
Wylee was my parents dog and they moved out of state due to health reasons. And could not take him. I live in an apartment and work I just feel him locked up every day alone is cruel. He had a caption my dog however I lost her to cancer and he misses her terrible. He is very needy because of the change needs someone to play and work with him. It breaks my heart to give him up but it’s nessasary.

Story
Hi! My name is Bella! I am a 9 year old austrailian shepherd. I am very loving and love attention! I am a foodie at heart. Food gets me excited and that is how mama has trained me over time to become a bit less timid. I am loyal and sweet! I know some great tricks like sit and wait to eat, jump, fetch and put the toy back in your hand, along with all the basics. I love to cuddle and get along great with dogs, cats, and small animals. I am talkative and friendly. I am kennel trained and sleep in my kennel at night. I would be best fit for a home where I am either the only dog or one of 2 dogs or amongst other kinds of pets. I don't have any medical issues and eat my food regularly. I will be going to a ranch soon because I am still available and my mom is having serious health conditions. If my listing is still up, I am still available.

Some believe I'm a unique breed called an Australian Kelpie. Look at my multi-colored chocolate coat and my "Got Milk" mustache. I'm very intelligent. I love a job, and can be easy and quick to train learn new tricks and commands. I have some instincts to herd so best keep me on leash around moving objects, including children. I'll show you my best zoomies in your back yard and then love to settle in for cuddles. I love puzzle play. A kong with frozen food inside would be heaven or "find it" games too. Can't wait to meet you and fill your days with energy and fun.Team Member says: "He was great on leash and frequently looks up at you with beautiful golden eyes. A really good dog." Primary Color: Chocolate Weight: 54.9 Age: 2yrs 2mths 2wks

Story
Indie, so named for her life change over Independence Day weekend, is making fireworks of progress on her way to becoming a pet dog again. Indie was known in her neighborhood for living under an abandoned trailer with her puppies. PACA volunteers went to check on the situation and were able to capture Indie and her two puppies. Indie is now in a foster home and we think she likely was a pet previously. The word in the neighborhood varies, but some say she belonged to the man that owned the trailer and died TWO years ago. Indie is checking all the boxes of knowing things pet dogs do, especially the sound of a bone being unwrapped! Indie loves leash walks, playing with dog friends, Fetching a ball, and is always curious about her human companions are doing. She follows her foster mom around to help with housework. Needless to say any dog that can survive for two years by herself is smart. She is quite willing to follow human guidance. Indie is learning "come" and "sit" Indie would do well with people that are willing to show her the ropes for a few weeks to continue her re-acquaintance with pet life. Indie is a unique wiry, bob-tailed mix of cattle dog, Aussie, and other herding breeds that makes the perfect combination. She is 2-3 years old and weighs about 40 lbs. PACA is a Foster-Based Rescue with no shelter. We have adoption clinic on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications. You can complete and easy online application here: https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155 The $250 adoption fee covers S/N, microchip, vaccines and heartworm/tic borne illness testing.
