Story
Leo | Male ♂️ | 6 Months Old | Collie Mix 🐑 | Dogs: Yes | Cats: Yes | Kids: Yes Dating Bio: I'm a bit of a ham, but you'll love me for it! Looking for that supporting character in my life to provide love and affection. Adoption Bio: Leo Loves attention! He enjoys playing with his toys, a game of the tug of war, playing fetch with balls and sticks, or just laying on his own and ripping a stuffy apart. He is Playful and very affectionate. Leo is so smart and treat motivated! He is incredibly loyal - he loves to cuddle and just be with his people, but he will also play a game of fetch or go on a long hike! Leo is still learning leash manners and how to act calm when coming up to people and other animals, he can be a little rambunctious and jumps up when he's excited. “Leo walks great though, when it is just us and our dog, but he is very vocal with excitement when coming up to other people and dogs,” Leo's foster parent. He is house and crate trained, he will whine a little in the crate, but settles down quickly. He is ready to learn more and more commands. Leo is so full of love, his want to be part of everything with his people shows how much he has to give and how excited he is to receive! He is current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, neutered and is being fostered in Listowel, ON. 📌Apply to Adopt at the link in our bio.

Story
Shanel is such a happy good dog. She is an ideal family dog at 6 years old and weighs about 70 pounds. Due to some family issues she needed to find a new home. But she got lots of love and was raised in a home with children and other dogs. She is good with other dogs and loves to play. She walks well on a leash and loves to go exploring. She especially loves human affection and would be an amazing companion. She loves meeting new people and dogs and truly is one of the happiest and friendliest dogs we have met. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, and in good health. She has no separation anxiety and would do well in almost any home - as long as it is filled with love. If you live in Ontario within 3 hours of Toronto and would like to meet her and get to know more about her and our foster to adopt program, please email our rescue at c4ptoronto@gmail.com.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.CLEOPATRA hails from Wapekeka in Northern Ontario and came south to look for a family to call her very own. What we know of her is that she was kept tied up outside of a home and just bred so she’s had a few litters but just how many, we have no idea. We have no knowledge on her parents so her breeds and the potential weight we have her listed as are mere guesses. She is spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped and has tested negative for heart worm and Lyme disease. This lovely, gentle girl is still quite timid but has come a long way since joining her foster family. It takes her a little while to warm up to people but once she does she’ll show them just how affectionate she can be.  CLEOPATRA is crate trained and will sleep quietly in it all through the night and she will also seek it out during the day as she knows it’s her safe place to be. She’s also housetrained and hasn’t had any accidents in the house as she’ll let you know when she needs to go outside for the bathroom. She’s in a foster home with 3 other dogs and they all get along great together. She loves to go on her walks but she is new to a leash so does tend to pull. This lovely girl has had a rough start in life but that’s all behind her now and we’re going to find her the perfect family that has everything she needs and more. She would best suit a quiet but active family who will take her on lots of walks and hikes so she gets the regular exercise she needs to remain a healthy girl. She travels well in a vehicle so will always be up for a drive especially if it leads to an exciting adventure for her. CLEOPATRA loves to be around her humans and will follow them around like a shadow but she doesn’t seek out affection just yet but we know she will eventually. She’ll also lay quietly beside you and is just happy knowing she’s at her humans feet. She’s just starting to play with toys and she loves to chase a ball around outside with the other dogs. She requires a fenced yard so she can play outside and be kept safe. She would like a sibling as she really enjoys romping around with the dogs in her foster home but we’re not saying she can’t be an only child either. She has a cat in her foster home and she’s never chased him but hasn’t interacted with him either so as long as a cat is dog savvy and there’s a slow, supervised introduced then we feel they can get along just fine. We recommend children aged 10 and up as she hasn’t been around any up until this point. She’s good at eating her food and treats around the other dogs and she’s learning her manners and a few commands like sit and stay for her meals.  We do require her adopter to be committed to getting her obedience/leash training in order to adopt her as it will help her be the best girl she can be.  If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle girl then CLEOPATRA is the one for and you meet her by submitting an adoption application for her. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 10:08 pm
