Macey is a beauty and a head turner with that defines the word fluffy dog. This 5 year old, 70 pound glamour girl is a Collie/Shepherd mix. She wa previously living with her humans on a farm and it was the most perfect life. A serene life where she lived on a farm nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee that offered her days of running in grassy fields, making friends with a few horses and having no cares in the world. Macey’s human Dad passed away suddenly, and her human Mamma is not in good health. Her Mamma cried when she surrendered Macey to our rescue, but we promised to find that perfect lifestyle and serene setting again. This girl is very calm and gentle with an air of lady like elegance. Macey hasn’t had much experience on a leash, as she was used to the freedom of farm life, but she is a quick learner and aims to please. Macey is housebroken, UTD on all vaccinations, spayed, HW negative and microchipped. Thyme was brought in by a good Samaritan wanting to see if we could help with him. Of course we said yes. He is a sweetie. As you can see from his pictures he is beautiful. He's a very happy puppy but still needs a forever family to love and take care of him. He has been fully vetted, up to date on all shots and will be neutered before going to his forever home. He loves to play and is good with kids and other dogs. Not sure about cats at this time. Won't you think about adopting this sweet young pup? He will make a good family member with all of his love and happiness that he has to share. Thyme is being fostered in TN but not to worry because we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. The transport fee is included in the adoption fee as well.

Meet Fawkes (a.k.a., Rye - just look at those eyes!), a 1-year-old border collie mix, weighing in at about 38 pounds. Fawkes was surrendered by a commercial breeder after not selling. Fawkes is learning to become a more confident dog now that he lives in a family with another dog and cats. He's not particularly vocal, which is a nice touch for a herding breed dog. He's been tested with children 9 & over, cats, and a larger dog. He has lots of energy and enjoys going on leashed walks in the park or around the neighborhood as well as playing with other dogs off leash in a securely fenced yard. Unsurprisingly he's super fast! Fawkes would enjoy a canine companion in his new home. He is wary of his feline housemates (they have pointy bits!), but does not chase them. He's food driven and lovestreats of all sorts. This boy is very bright and highly trainable. He enthusiastically responds to commands and under gentle leadership will thrive and become more confident. Someone who can give him the exercise and stimulation he craves is ideal. Fawkes has mastered going up and down stairs in a split-level house, leash walking, and sitting on command. Fawkes is a little nervous on car rides, but with exposure he'd probably come to enjoy them more. He likes his cage and sleeps soundly in it at night. Fawkes is potty-trained, but regression is common. Fawkes is being fostered near Valley Forge National Park, so his adoptive family will need to travel there for a meet-and-greet. Fawkes is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, neutered, and has been on flea/tick/heartworm prevention since coming into the rescue.
