Can a Collie get a break here?? Yes, we think I am a collie mix and what a handsome boy I am!! I did not look this handsome when I arrived at the rescue, but a DEDICATED foster took me in and nursed me back to health and (even though it will be hard for her), I am READY for my FUREVER HOME!!! I came from a plea at a local animal control facility- I had been attacked by three other dogs at the facility who broke into my kennel and mauled me pretty bad :( My foster mom saw the post and agreed to help, and HELP she DID!!! Even though not a medical foster, she learned ALL the things she had to do to help my body and my soul heal. My back end/sides were torn OPEN on each side, numerous bite marks and punctures and infection when she got me. I spent quite a bit of time at the rescue vet for debridement and treatment of the very serious infections and then she took me home and changed my dressings daily and then weekly and then no more dressings!! I am a very very sweet and cuddly boy. House/crate trained, great with other dogs and everyone I meet (except kitties- not a fan). I am a medium sized boy and I am ready for you!!! My ideal family will love and appreciate my survivor personality, my cuddly and happy temperament and will keep me safe from harm for as long as they are blessed to have me :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Three-year-old Elliot is in love with life - fun, upbeat, happy, outgoing and friendly. Elliot was rescued from South Korea and now looking for his second chance and forever home with Greyhound Pets in Woodinville. He is on the higher energy side and will need an active home and adopters who like to exercise him. Elliot is eager to please and very smart, but needs a leader to continue his training on manners (which we too are working with him on). He is elegant and agile, and so fun to watch him romp and play! Elliot gets along well with the other greyhounds, but we’ve not had him with other dogs. With slow-intros we think he will be fine with doggie friends. Elliot who is 7olbs, will need a home without cats. We are not recommending Elliot with young children as he can get quite exuberant when playing and might unintentionally hurt a child. Elliot would do best in a home with a fenced yard rather than an apartment/condo/townhome. Elliot is neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. This is Lola, she is a sweet, goofy and energetic Blue Heeler. She is about a year and a half old. She is crate and house trained. Spayed and vaccinated but due for an update soon. She is really great dog but I just can’t keep her any more. She is really smart and knows basic commands and picks up new commands fairly quickly. She needs some help with socializing with new people and other dogs. She does better around women, or smaller dogs but she needs dedicated time for training and exposure. Id love for her to go to a home where she will thrive. She would be sent with food, toys, grooming tool, full sized crate and a portable foldable crate. Would love everyone’s help finding a new home for this beautiful baby.
