To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on February 7th and arrive on February 8th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 1/20/2025 Dog Name: Bridget Sex: Female Estimated Breed Mix: Collie mix Approximate Age: 2 years old Approximate Weight: 45-55lbs Adoption Fee: $450 Description: Bridget was found alone wandering the streets in 15 degree weather, she was eager to jump into the car of her finder. Her owners were not located and she now is looking for her forever home! Bridget is a GREAT girl. She is dog, kid & cat friendly (has met 2 cats). She rides great in a vehicle and is so affectionate! Bridget is intelligent and eager to please. She has a gorgeous coat with unique markings and a big smile that is so contagious!  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. January 22, 2025, 8:39 pm

Story
Mister and his buddy Timber were found running in the country and not reclaimed by their owners. Mister is an active lil fella who is looking for an busy home, or a farm with a job to do. He is very sweet and seems to enjoy everyone's company. He is shy at first, but it doesn't take long to warm up to you. He seems to have lived mostly outside, as he is afraid of things indoors but is taking everything like a champ! It is unknown whether he is good with other dogs, cats or kids.“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle me into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).”

Story
Jack is a 1 - 2 year old medium sized mixed breed dog that we are guessing to be a Collie mix, and he currently weighs around 50 - 55 pounds. Jack first came to our shelter as a stray, and went unclaimed. After listing him for adoption we had a family reach out, and offered to foster him so we could learn a bit more about Jack's personality. We now know a bit more about Jack that could set him up better in the future. When Jack first came to the shelter we didn't have any previous home history, but we now know that he does seem to be potty trained after adjusting to a routine, while he doesn't like being kennel he will go in when encouraged with treats, and he worked on several commands while in foster care. He knows sit, down, shake, and place, a command for when he needs to go to his bed to relax. Some other commands he got started on but still need some work are stay, heel, and off, for when he is jumping up on people. Jack is a chewer, and busy boy that needs a home that will not only work him physically but keep him mentally stimulated as well. While he does do well with all people he can be a bit too rough with little kids, but with more work on his manners when playing, and greeting people he could do really well with kids to play with. Jack still does well with other dogs, and having another dog in the home to keep him company when his family is busy would be perfect for him!Jack's adoption fee is $200, and he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm, and will receive monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention while in our care. Story
Meet Chip! Age: golden oldie Weight: 62 pounds Good with: Dogs, ignore cats, haven't been around kids (but I'm super sweet and gentle) House trained: yes Crate trained: yes Special needs: I don't hear too well anymore at my age, and I have some arthritis in my hips and lower back, that I take some medicine for. Oh man, I'm so excited to finally be on the lookout for my new home! I love car rides and leisurely walks. And by leisurely, I mean nice and slow. Not too far though, I'll get wobbly on the way back home otherwise. I'm a gentle boy who loves to be loved and love in return! Boy, that's a lot of love! I'm a fan of getting pet and enjoy attention from my humans. Good news, my fur is super soft and velvety! Perfect for petring! My second favorite thing is naps! I'll nap on and off all day long. It's actually a specialty of mine! In my new home I'll just need a human to pet me and a bed to snuggle up on. Not asking for much! Do you have something like that, and want to bring me home with you? *Chip is being fostered in Menomonee Falls, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair).
