Story
Danchu is a 3-year-old male Welsh Corgi who was rescued from a shelter in South Korea where euthanasia is practiced. He has a bright and friendly personality, and he is welcoming to people he meets for the first time. He is adorable for both young and old alike. Danchu is a caring dog who will wag his tail to greet other dogs when he sees them on a walk but will stop and maintain good manners when the other dog shows discomfort. However, He enjoys playing with people more than dogs, and he is much happier playing with people and toys. Danchu knows how to relieve himself outdoors as well as indoors using a potty pad. However, he is still training to consistently use the potty pad, and he sometimes makes mistakes. If he marks a different area in the house by urinating, he may be drawn to that same location more frequently. It is important to thoroughly clean those areas of the house to discourage him from returning to them. With continued training and reinforcement, he will gradually improve. Danchu exhibits no resource guarding whatsoever. He doesn’t feel any discomfort when you take something from his mouth with your hands, and he patiently and obediently allows it. Danchu is a dog with bright and positive energy, ready to bring great happiness and laughter to those with whom he is present.

Story
Lingling is a sweet soul rescued from a high-kill shelter in Korea, now looking for her forever home. With a calm energy level, Lingling knows how to strike a balance between play and rest. She enjoys playing with other dogs but also values her quiet time, retreating to her space to relax after some fun. Her independent nature makes her a perfect match for someone with a peaceful, laid-back lifestyle. When it comes to people, Lingling is gentle and friendly. She welcomes affection from everyone, whether it’s adults, children, men, or women. She’s the type to approach new faces calmly, asking politely for pets with her sweet demeanor. One of Lingling’s standout qualities is her lack of separation anxiety. She stays quiet and relaxed when left alone, using the time to rest peacefully. She is fully outdoor potty-trained and walks beautifully on a leash, making strolls an enjoyable experience. However, she’s a bit sensitive to loud noises and may need some reassurance in such situations. Lingling’s charming combination of a loving personality, high social skills, and independence makes her a fantastic companion. She’s ready to bring warmth and happiness to her new family’s life. If you’re looking for a calm and affectionate furry friend, Lingling is the one for you. Adopt her, and together, you’ll create countless heartwarming memories!

Story
Meet Huni! A 3-4 year old Corgi weighing 8kg. Huni is a sweet and gentle soul looking for a loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and included. Could he be the perfect match for you? Huni’s personality shines when it comes to people! He’s friendly and affectionate, happily approaching both familiar faces and strangers to seek attention and cuddles. He’ll nudge and wiggle his way closer for some love and even enjoys being lifted and carried with arms under his belly. Huni has a special fondness for children and loves showing his belly to those he’s grown close to. With other dogs, Huni is polite but prefers to keep to himself. He’ll say hello to unfamiliar dogs but doesn’t engage in play. Larger dogs or those with high energy can make him a bit uneasy, but he’s more likely to avoid conflict than engage. In general, Huni doesn’t show much interest in other dogs. Huni is also cat-curious but not pushy. On walks, he may glance at a passing cat, but he’ll follow your lead without resistance. Energy-wise, Huni is a balanced boy. He enjoys outdoor activities but knows how to relax afterward. While he gets excited when receiving affection, he’s usually calm and reserved indoors, where he even rests well in his kennel. On walks, Huni can be a bit nervous in unfamiliar or noisy environments. He does well in quiet areas but might flatten to the ground when something scares him. Busy streets with lots of traffic can be intimidating for him. A few other quirks about Huni: he sometimes whines during car rides in a kennel but is otherwise comfortable using it at home for naps or relaxation. He’s flexible with potty habits, using both indoor pee pads and outdoor spaces, though he might mark a bit in new places at first. Once a beloved indoor dog, Huni was sadly left outside. Thankfully, a kind neighbour who noticed his plight reached out to rescue him. Story
Quick Facts  Name: Chilly Age: 3.5 years old Gender: Female Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Corgi Mix Color: White Weight: 10kg My Story Hello! My name is Chilly, and I’m a 3.5-year-old Jindo-Corgi mix with a soft white coat and a heart as gentle as my name suggests. I’m on the smaller side, weighing about 10 kg (22 lbs). My story began when I was found wandering with my puppies and ended up in a shelter. Thanks to the wonderful people at WelcomeDog, I was rescued and am now looking for a family who understands my quiet, thoughtful nature. Personality I’m a reserved and independent girl, preferring to observe from a safe distance rather than jump into interactions. It may take me a week or two to truly feel comfortable, but even then, I like to keep my space. I’m not one to greet you at the door with a wagging tail, but I do have a special way of showing affection when I feel safe—like calmly approaching you during mealtime. I have a low-energy lifestyle and enjoy spending most of my time lounging peacefully like the adorable stuffed animal I resemble. If you’re looking for a laid-back companion, I might just be the perfect match. My Social Side I tend to be cautious around people, especially children whose sudden movements might startle me. With other dogs, I’m polite but not overly social. I prefer to quietly coexist and will gently walk away if another dog gets too pushy. I haven’t had any experience with cats, but my mellow nature suggests I could adjust with time and patience. My Energy Level & Walks I have a low energy level and am happiest with short, calm walks in quiet areas. I walk well on a leash and don’t pull, but I can be nervous around loud noises or busy streets. In those moments, I’ll try to head back home where I feel safe. I enjoy being outdoors but can’t be off-leash—I’m too shy and cautious to come back if I wander too far. At home, I’m perfectly content to relax and quietly observe the world around me. Life At Home I have excellent house manners and am fully trained to do my business outdoors. I also keep my kennel neat and am very well-behaved when left alone. I don’t bark much, but I might make soft, whistle-like sounds every now and then—it’s my quiet way of saying hello! While I’m generally shy about food, I absolutely love treats like jerky or chicken, which you can hand-feed me once we build trust. Watching me enjoy a treat might just be one of the most rewarding moments you’ll have. Why I’m Looking for You I’m looking for a patient, understanding family who appreciates my quiet demeanor and doesn’t mind that I’ll take my time to warm up. I’ve been with my foster family for nearly a year, and though I haven’t become overly affectionate, I’ve shown them my gentle soul in small, meaningful ways. If you’re someone who understands rescue dogs and can provide a safe, loving home for a sweet, independent companion like me, we might just be the perfect fit. I may not be the cuddliest dog, but I’ll bring a calm and comforting presence to your home.  Quick Facts  Name: Kei Age: 4 years old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo-Corgi Mix Color: Beige Weight: 7.5 kg Health History Vaccinations: All up to date. Surgery: Recently underwent a successful hernia surgery, which hasn’t impacted my ability to live a happy, healthy life. All About Me Hello, future family! My name is Kei, and I’m a cheerful little guy with the charm of a Jindo and the adorable short legs of a Corgi. My story started when I was found wandering the streets of Gwangju wearing a blue collar. Lucky for me, I was taken to a shelter and given the chance to find my forever home—maybe it’s with you? Personality I’m a happy-go-lucky pup who loves people! I might be a little shy for the first few minutes, but offer me a tasty treat, and I’ll warm up quickly. Once I feel at home, I’ll wag my tail, enjoy cuddles, and maybe even roll over for some belly rubs. With other dogs, I’m the life of the party. I love making friends and even take on a leadership role among my canine pals, encouraging shy pups to join the fun. Whether it’s playful romps or quiet companionship, I’m happy to adapt. My Energy Level & Walks Oh, how I love my walks! Exploring the outdoors is one of my favorite things to do. I’ll bounce along with enthusiasm, sniffing all the interesting scents around me. My short legs don’t slow me down; they just make me extra cute on the move! Sometimes I pull a little on the leash because I’m excited, but I’m eager to follow your lead. Life at Home I’m a polite and well-mannered housemate. I’m comfortable in a kennel and settle in calmly when needed. I’m also great with potty routines—whether it’s using indoor pads or heading outside. I love spending time with my humans and enjoy being part of the family. I’m a quick learner and have already mastered taking treats gently from your hand while making eye contact—it’s my way of saying, “Thank you!” My Ideal Home I’m looking for a loving home where I can share my joyful personality and adorable charm. Here’s what I hope for in my forever family: Companionship: I love people and would thrive in a home where I can be included in daily activities. Playtime & Walks: Whether it’s a quick stroll, a fun play session, or a lazy cuddle on the couch, I’m happiest being by your side. Patience & Understanding: I adjust quickly to new surroundings but appreciate a family that can give me time to settle in and show my true self. Last Message If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and spirited companion with short legs and a big heart, I might just be the perfect pup for you. Let’s create a lifetime of love and memories together—I can’t wait to meet you! With love,Kei  Videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gdc1NpqMwB8&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JyYj8EOhcOKUmk1h1gzB5lk ##2256467##
