Story
Jjalbong is an incredibly affectionate and charming pup who was rescued from a shelter. His sweet and adaptable personality has helped him settle into new environments quickly and easily. With his unique leopard-like coat pattern and short legs, Jjalbong is as adorable as he is special. At just 11 months old, Jjalbong is still a playful puppy who loves spending time with other dogs. He gets along wonderfully with them, and his friendly demeanor makes him irresistible to both humans and other pups. Even when other dogs bark or nibble at him, Jjalbong remains unbothered and approaches them with enthusiasm. While his playfulness might feel a bit intense for some dogs, he thrives with companions who share his energy level. Jjalbong warms up quickly to strangers, making him an easygoing and sociable companion. However, since he’ll be traveling overseas on a 14-hour flight and moving to a new environment, he’ll need time to adjust. Giving him the space and patience to come to you on his own terms will allow his bubbly and loving personality to shine through. On walks, Jjalbong loves exploring his surroundings and may pull on the leash occasionally, especially when he needs to potty or spots pigeons, cats, or other dogs. He’s currently in training to improve his leash manners. Sometimes, he gets so excited that he behaves a bit rambunctiously, but he responds well to gentle corrections and is improving every day. Jjalbong has a special love for grass, often rolling around or lying in grassy areas to his heart’s content. He has no known food allergies or picky eating habits and is fully potty-trained for outdoor environments. While he doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety at the moment, this may change depending on his living situation. He is generally quiet but might bark occasionally at sounds like bicycles passing by the house. A quick “no” or stepping in front of him usually stops the barking. Jjalbong is ready to bring his boundless affection and joyful energy to a loving family. His playful and endearing personality is sure to fill your home with happiness and laughter! Story
Introducing the incredibly sweet Mr.Cola, a purebred Cardigan Welsh Corgi! This beautiful 2 year old boy was brought to us as a surrender that unfortunately, has had quite a rough start in his life. Among a number of things that may have happened with him, we know that he was very neglected. We believe he may have spent a good portion of his beginnings confined and limited as to where he was able to move and was fed very poorly and not exercised. This has caused him to have some health issues such as being a bit over his ideal weight and he has had to have some extensive dental surgery and teeth extractions just recently. He is healing really well from the surgery. Cola is currently in the safe care of one of our experienced fosters who is taking really good care of him and getting him on a proper diet, exercise and follow up vet checks. He is house trained, neutered and all his vaccinations are up to date. Cola is great with other dogs, people and great with cats! In the short time Cola has been with us we have seen that he is very eager to adapt and please. He can be incredibly submissive and a little 'careful' at times and will tuck his body down being afraid if he is approached too quickly or sudden movements toward him, such as arms being raised fast. Cola responds very quickly and positively to gentle calm hands and energy. A home with excitable young children or a really busy home may not be a good fit for him. Whomever is the fortunate one to become his forever home will be the luckiest person on the planet because he will be deeply loyal and loving forever.

I**Meet Bingo - 7-Week-Old Male Corgi Puppy** - Currently in a very experienced Foster home being raised with other dogs. Are you ready for a challenge? Bingo is a spunky, 7-week-old male Corgi with a ton of personality. While he’s cute as a button, this little guy is not your typical snuggly puppy. Bingo isn’t a fan of being held or cuddled, so if you’re looking for a lap dog, he may not be your guy. Instead, he’s an energetic and spirited pup who needs a breed-experienced owner who can handle his mischievous ways. Bingo is a clever little troublemaker! He loves to test boundaries and challenges other dogs with his playful (but sometimes stubborn) nature. He has a strong personality and a bit of a bite to back it up—literally. He’s known to nip hard when excited or feeling defensive - so his new home should be prepared to work on positive reinforcement training and provide consistent, firm guidance. This smart and independent boy is looking for a home that can offer him structure, patience, and understanding. If you're familiar with the Corgi breed's unique needs and temperament, and you’re ready to help Bingo become the best version of himself, then this little guy might just be your perfect match. Bingo may not be for everyone, but if you’re up for the challenge, he could be a loyal companion who’ll keep you on your toes for years to come! **Adoption Requirements:** - Breed-experienced home only - Consistent training and firm boundaries - Patience, understanding, and a sense of humor! - NO children If you think you can provide Bingo with the training and care he needs, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Story
Hello, everyone!  I'm a vibrant 3-ish year old corgi mix and my name is Beene, affectionately known as Benny Boy by humans.  I arrived in Canada in December 2023 and have been fortunate to live with caring foster families since my arrival who've helped me settle into my new life.  As a special-needs dog requiring diapers/belly bands for indoors, I need an understanding and patient person/family able to commit to my long-term care.  I'm a lively pup with lots of energy, love to give, and excitement for what is to come!  Born in a small village in the Middle East, Benny’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. At just one month old, he was found whimpering alone under a tree. With his mother and littermates nowhere to be found, a kind human brought him to a shelter, where he spent 1.5 years sharing a small space with other dogs. Despite the challenges, Benny’s resilience and sweet personality shone through, eventually earning him a ticket to a new life in British Columbia.f Benny has met several foster families who've cared for him deeply, and where he had the opportunity to live with other dogs, which he got along very well with.  He thrives in the company of playful canine friends and would love a home with another dog or access to regular dog park outings. Benny is a true sweetheart who lives for human affection. He’s known for gently placing his paw on your arm or leg as if to say, “It’s time for pets!” His soulful eyes are guaranteed to melt your heart. Though Benny can be a little timid when meeting new humans (especially men), he warms up quickly with patience and kindness. In fact, his current foster—a man—won him over in just five minutes! Benny is a fast learner, eager to please, and very food-motivated, making training a breeze. He’s gentle, has no resource guarding, and is great with kids. Benny’s incontinence issue is likely neurological (undiagnosed). He signals when he needs to go outside for bowel movements but struggles with bladder control, which is managed indoors with belly bands. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal, giving him space to run, play, and explore while making bathroom breaks easier for everyone.  Without documented separation anxiety, he is fine to be left alone for a few hours. Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoption fee is by donation.  Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess. Loved at Last Dog Rescue is not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##1675200##

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Happy❤️ He spent a long time trapped behind the fence of an old junkyard in South Korea. For over a year, a concerned civilian cared for him while the owner neglected him. After the junkyard was shut down, the owner abandoned him. The civilian continued to advocate for his rescue, and eventually, Adogs stepped in to help. Happy is now residing at the Adogs Center and received training to improve his social skills with other dogs . * With People: Is shy at first, but once he warms up, he constantly seeks to be patted, rolling over to show his belly. Is a sweetheart who loves having his butt patted. * With Dogs: Is a bit cautious when meeting new dogs, especially in his space. Is not very interested in the dogs with whom he shares the space at the center, but will occasionally confronts them if they irritate him. * With Cats: Struggles to get along well with cats. Sometimes shows signs of aggression, so it is best to avoid interaction with them. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he has not been left alone at the center. Stays very well with other dogs, and occasionally barks as a sign to greet them when inside his kennel. * Potty Training: Prefers to go potty outdoors 100%. May have marking issue indoors. * Hygiene: Tolerates grooming, baths and drying well when with people. Is an active dog who doesn’t enjoy staying still for brushing, but handles it very well. * Walks: Enjoys walks and stays in step with a walker without pulling on the leash. Loves sniffing around outdoors! * Car sickness: Does not get car sick at all! 💌Special Notes💌 * Likes snacks so much that he may bite the hand on which treat has been placed, so it's important to help him eat carefully. Can become aggressive when treats are given in the same area as other dogs, so it's best to feed him separately! * Occasionally barks at outside noises but quickly stops when you call his name.
