Story
Meet Echo!   Echo is looking for her forever home. Her ideal home would be quiet, with few guests and adults only. It would also be ideal if at least one of her parents could work from home.  A patient family is needed to continue her training.  She has an independent spirit but still loves a good snuggle. If you think you're a good fit, reach out today!  March 12, 2025, 4:19 pm

Story
Benjii, corgi/shepherd mix, 6 yo, 36 lb, male.Benji is cute,  smart, loyal, and has a great steady shepherd-like personality.  He gets deeply attached, although needs a little bit of time to get used to a new place. Would be better as the only dog and would bond closer with a female owner. Would be better with teenage kids. He is patient and great at following the routine. Was found as a stray.   Adoption fee: $300. If interested, please submit an adoption or foster application at https://www.sanNicolaDogRescue.com  January 17, 2025, 3:02 pm

Story
Updated Bio! Lenny was picked up by the PoPo, found himself in a KS shelter, no one came looking for him, and he wants to tell you all about it. This stunning floofernutter is approx 9-11 months old and approx 30#. We believe that he is Corgi mixed with Australian Shepherd given his long soft Aussie-like coat that will require more than average grooming. Lenny has a very sweet demeanor and loves being near his people. Lenny is good with other dogs and right now we are only considering applications with another playful dog his size who enjoys multiple romping sessions per day. Lenny is a bit overwhelmed by large excited dogs but at the same time he would likely be overwhelming for a senior dog. He has not been tested with cats or kids but due to his blossoming herding tendencies, respectful children 12+ may be considered. He enjoys snuggling with his human, running in the yard with his foster brothers and sisters, and chewing on toys and bully sticks. His only dislike so far is being in the crate which his foster is working on. Lenny requires a secure fenced in yard with active humans who aren’t gone long hours who have some herding breed experience. He is not a good fit for an apartment situation with shared walls. He is mostly potty trained when let out often and will need a refresher course in a new home with a new routine and gentle reminders to mark outdoors only. Lenny sleeps in a dog bed but wouldn’t mind the human bed. He needs to pee first thing in early morning hours. He knows how to walk on a leash and is doing great. He will do well in a moderately active home with active humans and lots of attention. A beginner training class would do wonders to build his confidence and help him learn basic puppy manners. If you’re interested in meeting Lenny, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Lenny is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.  March 1, 2025, 8:20 am

Story
Hi there, my name is Daisy! I am looking for a quiet and comfortable home to live out my golden years. I'm sweet, gentle, cuddly, and easy going. I like to spend my days cuddled one a comfy couch or bed. I love to be near my humans and want to sleep with them at night. My favorite activities are short walks, exploring the yard and my foster home and sunbathing. In my foster home I live with chickens and never bother them. I have visited other volunteers homes with cats and dogs and I am very polite with both. I have met small children and I am always gentle and sweet, but I would prefer a home with older children or no children because I really like when it's quiet and calm. My foster family thinks I am just the sweetest and easiest dog EVER! Easy to love and easy to care for. I am such a good girl, and I deserve a family as kind, gentle, and sweet as I am. My adoption fee includes my spay, a microchip, vaccines, and a fourteen day limited health guarantee through Redstone Animal Hospital! Come and visit me today! Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: Grizzle Weight: 37 Age: 9yrs 1mths 3wks
