Story
Halligan is a handsome 2-year old male Corgi mix who was surrendered by his tearful owner on August 7, 2024 along with his companions (Lazarus & Pierce La'France) through no fault of their own due to an unexpected housing issue. Halligan has a dark brown/brindle-and-white short smooth coat, brown/black ticking on his short chubby legs, a long body, a long tail, and and an adorable symmetrically-marked face with expressive brown eyes, black freckles on his long muzzle, and extra-large erect ears. This sweet boy has a super friendly, outgoing personality. If Halligan were in grade school, he would likely be a contender for 'class clown' (smile). Halligan is always trying to please, and he loves children. He is good with other dogs but has never been introduced to cats, so we don't know what his reaction would be to kitty friends. Halligan has been kept indoors and was housetrained (and crate-trained). Halligan posed like a model for Dog Fancy Magazine when HSOV Kennel Tech Cadince Bibbee spent time with him for outdoor photos late in the afternoon of August 7th. Halligan was quite the charmer and quickly had Cadince wrapped about his large paws .. And gave her the sweetest puppy kisses and hugs after his photo session was finished. Halligan weighs 43.6 lbs and walks well on a leash. Halligan has not yet been neutered (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized). Halligan could be fostered with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application while he waits for his neuter procedure to be scheduled.
