Story
Meet Champ, an extraordinary 4-year-old Dachshund mix who has just joined our rescue family. This delightful boy came to us through no fault of his own, having been owner-surrendered. We're thrilled to have him and can't wait to help him find his perfect forever home. Champ is currently dealing with some allergies, but don't worry – we're working hard to get him feeling his best. Once we have his health issues under control, he'll be ready for adoption. Here's what makes Champ so special: • Champ gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a potential great addition to multi-pet households. • He's a people-pleaser and enjoys human company. • This well-behaved boy follows commands nicely and is well-mannered. • Champ is crate-trained and has no issues spending time in his personal space when needed. Story
Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dog  Biography   Important Information   Please read!   If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions.   The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care.   Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.    However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion.   We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs.   The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react.   Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location.   Hi! My name is Kennedy, and I am a sweet Doxiepoo boy who was born 12/22/23, and I weigh 20 pounds. I am special needs as I am hearing impaired but it’s really hard to tell because I am so smart. I will learn hand signals very quickly and be your best buddy!   I am very sweet and social and get along with other dogs and a sibling my size to learn from would be ideal. Who knew a Doxie and Poodle could make such an adorable puppy???   If you have been waiting for a sweet Doxie+, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.   Love, Kennedy 041924-28  August 18, 2024, 7:09 pm

Story
Sparky is around 5 years old. He is a happy, very friendly and sweet little guy that loves to be around people and canine friends. My brother moved out of country with his family and could not take him with. He’s been in my home with a Great Dane, German shorthair pointer and Doberman shepherd mix. There are no heath issues that I am aware of, however he does need a dental cleaning and a veterinarian visit to ensure he is up to date on vaccinations. Sparky would best fit in home where he has another canine companion or someone that has more time than I do to spend with him.

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already spayed/neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: This puppy is such a sweet angel! Expect her to be shy and timid at first, but really open up once she knows she's safe. She loves to cuddle up on your lap and give kisses. She also loves going for car rides and going to the park. She can sleep through the night in her crate. No potty accidents since I've had her, but I take her out often. Doing great walking on the leash with no pulling. She does get nervous if other dogs approach her, so that will be something to work on. Because of her history, she would do best in a peaceful home. But with a bit of patience and a lot of love, she will make a wonderful companion. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
