Story
Meet Buddy!
My name is Buddy, and I am a happy, 14lb senior Daschund that can’t wait to be your…buddy! I’m enjoying being silly in my foster home and getting along well with the mellow dog who lives there. I enjoy cats but confuse them for toys so would do best in a home without them. I don't currently live with any kids in my foster home, but older, respectful kids are okay in my book and could definitely live with them!
I have great house manners. I am learning my new environment quickly and am doing great with going potty outside when on a consistent schedule. If my forever family will be away for a while, then I'm happy to wear a belly band while I gain confidence and overnight. I would love if my new family was home more often than not though! I'd love to have a fenced-in yard in my forever home because I love being outside, but I also do well on a leash. I just have to be contained. Otherwise, I like to zoom really fast, and I don't want to get hurt. I would do best in a single family dwelling, as I like to say hello when meeting new people, and I would hate to disturb other tenants in an apartment.
I love going on adventures, both in the car (pup cup, anyone?!) and exploring outside. I’m happy and curious and always ready for a snack. I’m so excited about finding a family that makes me feel safe and loved so I can love you right back twice as much. If you are ready for love from a happy and silly pup…let’s be buddies!!
