Story
Toss on the side the road like garbage this little guy and a few other were found fending for them selves. Luck was on their side that day that my niece and her mom were on their way to see family when they spotted them. They were kind to take care of them until they can get into our care. He has been completed vetted and ready to find a loving home that will take care of him for the rest of his life. He did test positive for Ehrlichia which is a tick born disease, however can lead a normal life. He need at his annual a blood test to make sure all is good. Other than that he is a happy little guy. He seems to be house trained and waits to be let out, he does lift his leg if you don't take him out right away but with him being just neutered he will stop doing that. Very sweet. Story
Paris is a active girl. She loves to play, go on walks & play fetch. She also loves playing with the other small dogs in the household. We feel she would be better in a home that already has a dachshund or another small dog. Due to owners health issues, Paris is being the first to be rehome. Paris just turned 4yrs this past June and have had her since 12 weeks old. She doesn't care for cold or rainy weather but if your on the couch with or without a banket she will join you for belly& back rubs. Paris though us not a jumper so be prepared to pick her up or have a dog ramp accessible for her to use. Paris is not a picky eater, she can graze sometimes but mostly only eats at dinnertime between 6/7 pm. We are requiring two meet & greets by us, a vet reference prior to first meet and greet. Meet & greets will be 30-45 minutes outside weather permitt. First meet & greets will be individual or parents adopting with their dog(s) in household. Children are not allowed on first meet & greets.

Ruby is pee pad house trained and plays well with other small dogs in household. She probably be best to be in a household that has other small dogs under 20lbs. Ruby we believe will stay on the small side, she is very active and not crate trained. She currently is not mircochipped but thar may change at some time. Ruby is a grazer and likes hard food and fresh food. She gets a all stage food mixture of two different brands. She rarely is taken for a walk. Req: Must be 21yrs-60 yrs, have a moderate/active lifestyle. If you live in a apt u Must have a Letterhead letter stating your name and address is allowed to have a dog. Two Meet and Greets a must within One weeks time period. To make sure you/her are good fit. Live within 2 hrs of McHenry. Provide a current or last Vet Reference prior to First Meet & Greet. Must pay (a deposit) & sign a spay aggreement to be completed within 30 days. If not spayed within the 30 day period, then deposit is forfeited and non-refundable.

This is Sunny, he is a 2.5 years old (intact) ee red male mini long haired dachshund (13 lbs). We got him from a family breeder, we had papers for him but unfortunately cant find them anywhere since our move 1 year ago He loves; bully sticks, treats, to play, walks, and most importantly loves to be around humans that give him lots of love, pets, cuddles and attention! He doesn’t like; when it rains/thunderstorms, birds/squirrels, and being alone for too long. He is recovering from a flea problem that started in July, but he is currently on Simparica Trio which has significantly reduced all adult fleas. He will need these tablets monthly for the next 5 months to make sure the fleas wont come back. We are rehoming him due to me having to move into a place that doesnt allow dogs. He would best suit a home with owners that will be home the majority of the day If you are interested please message me! He will need a new home by 8/31

People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!!
