Sadie is shy at first, needs time to feel comfortable; then a devoted best friend, who loves lap time, being close. She gets along with the other dogs, plays a little, cuddles; can be jealous of lap time with just a tiny growl. She also enjoys yard time. Sadie would love an owner who'd spend lots of time with her. A darling duo for sure, Karla Ku and Katy Ku would like a forever home together with humans who have lots of love and a little patience! Karla, 9 months, 6 pounds; Katy, 4 years, 10 pounds, were breeder releases to rescue. Both are shy at first, wary of strangers. Neither has any aggression. Both are extremely sweet, gentle. Karla is very much a pup, who loves to play. She is spunky, funny in the pack. Most of her left front paw is missing, chewed by her mother from the anxiety caused by being a breeding mama. Karla is a tiny girl, who has adapted well, does everything all dogs with 4 paws do. Katy is a love, more timid, scared of new people, places. Once she trusts, she's very affectionate, wants to be close to her person. She likes to explore in the yard, run with Karla and do lots of cuddling. Both are learning about potty habits, will need to continue. Neither walks on a leash yet; require a securely fenced yard. If you have the time for 2 precious doxie girls, these are special indeed. Candy is as sweet as her name, also smart, spunky and a devoted companion! She enjoys meeting people. Ok with dogs but prefers her person. A chocolate/tan dachshund, 11 years, 12 pounds, she has major doxie personality for sure. Candy came to a Louisiana shelter as a stray, quite thin with coat/skin issues; lost all of her teeth but 2 to dental disease. The 2 she has left are good. She's adorable with her tongue hanging out, eats very well. Candy tested HW positive, is being treated slowly because of her age. Her bloodwork results are good. The further treatment is simple and inexpensive. Candy is a delight and a wonderful best friend. She'd love to have a mama's to hang out with a lot. Pretty Bonnie is ready for her forever home! 3 years, 13 pounds of spunky doxie personality, she absolutely loves people, even strangers, likes to be close. Her favorite activities are playing with squeaky toys, another small dog, chasing squirrels. No cats with her high prey drive. Bonnie came to rescue with suspected IVDD. Because Bonnie had no neurological deficits, no issues in rescue, she was treated conservatively with medication and acupuncture. She's great, no issues, no pain, no limited movement. Bonnie is sweet and super friendly. She can become overly excited; e.g., during a vet visit. She enjoys meeting people. She must have a small, playful dog and a securely fenced yard in her forever home. She can be adopted with Chase. Bonnie can be vocal. Shared walls not the best for her. Meet Lucky and Sassy bonded pair They are being fostered in East Tn. Out of state welcome and transport to your area to the north east and great lakes areas is included in their adoption fee. We use rescue riders for all of our pet transport needs because they have always been great with our pets. These two little ladies are a bonded pair and are twins. Lucky is the darker brindle of the two and Sassy is a bit lighter. They are absolutely sweet little doll babies. They love to sit on your lap and give love and kisses. They are house trained and pad trained as well as crate trained if needed. They are about 5.5 years old and fairly active but laid back just as much. They love chewing nylabone power chewers or any nylabone type hard chews. They only weigh around 9 lbs each so no lap is too small to share lol They tolerate cats ok but we think they would do best in a home with older children that can respect space and not chase or scare them. Ideally a home with a laid back lifestyle that loves to cuddle without too much stress would be great for them. The adoption fee is for them as a pair we will not separated them.
