Meet Rolo!!!!He is a high energy youngster! Tons of fun!! Loves to run and play! I think he would do best in an active home and would love a playmate that matches his energy level. He is a sweet boy that loves pets and snuggles... House trained... Not a big fan of the crate but will settle with a bone to knaw on. He is 100% cute!!!! Rolo is a one year old happy energetic fella. Story
Meet the Littles! These sweet babies were found in a ditch in rural Mississippi. All efforts to locate the owners failed and we can only assume they were dumped to fend for themselves. They have been in foster care for about a month, up to date on shots, heartworm free, spayed, and microchipped. Now they are looking for forever love and care. Ages are around one year.Sally is a dachshund with adorable markings - a tiny white blaze on her face, white chest, wearing four white stockings, and a white tip on her tail. She is extremely gentle and loving, and keeps an eye on her partner, Lucy.Lucy is part chi, tiny little thing weighing eleven pounds. Lucy is a speed demon, queen of the zoomies. Her greatest happiness is emptying to toy basket. They are inseparable, always playing, eating, sleeping, seeking lap time together. Lucy and Sally must be adopted together. They are strongly bonded and don’t like to be apart for any reason. Side note - they are the only fosters that my elderly Jack Russell’s have ever liked! Lucy and Sally are the sweetestRussellrescuetn@gmail.comAvailable dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step. Story
Blaze is a young one year old terrier HW negative and fully vetted except for neuter. He is a “velcro” dog who follows along everywhere and loves to cuddle! He wants to play play play! Throw the ball, again and again-he’s down for it!! He loves toys and snuggles. He is picky about his food and is currently on Stella and Chewy kibble with fresh chicken on top. He does not like the kennel and will bark when placed in there. However, we have been working on night kennel training and he sleeps well untill 7am when he is ready to rip and play! What a happy joyful pup this is. He is reliably house trained but will mark without a belly band. Hopefully neuter will correct that behavior.hiAvailable dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step. Story
This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Mazie and goodness what a cracker jack she is.  Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy.  She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance.  Mazie is 30 pounds and 9 months old.  She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told.  Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl.  Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her.  We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning.  She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them.  She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily.  Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say.  She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE!  We want the right and perfect home and there are lots out there that can give her that.  Tiny but Mighty little Mazie is ready for a home NOW!  Please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue : ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Tell us where you live when you email asking for information and an application. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 1:19 pm

Story
This precious boy is called Charlie Chaplin.  A red Dachshund boy with  a beautiful soul that needs our help. At the age of 12 this boy has lived most of his life outside and not given the proper vetting care that he deserved and should have gotten all his life.  Critter Cavalry has stepped in and found him a soft place to hang out in a temporary foster home, but we need a more long term place.  We have taken him to the vet and learn that he has a major heart murmur and very bad dental disease. We have gotten him medications to help with his failing heart and are working on his bad and severe heart murmur that require medications. Through all of his infirmities this boy is the most loving, sweet, calm and cuddly Dachshund you will ever meet. We need a senior home for him to rest in and to trudge through giving him  medications everyday and to hopefully gain some improvement on his heart murmur. A dental will be in order after he has been mon his antibiotics a little longer. It has made us so sad to know that he was not valued more and cared for better in his lifetime. He should not have been left outside 24/7 in the horrible heat and humidity of the Tennessee climate year after year. We have scooped him up and taken him away from the harsh life that he's been living and suffering through. Can you help us find him a soft forever place to land? Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you can help Charlie Chaplin ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.August 19, 2024, 1:19 pm
