So here I was, minding my own business at the Target store.... when I was saved by a nice couple who saw me giving birth in the parking lot :( It was cold and it was scary and no one knew if i had puppies anywhere else or if my single puppy was going to live ;( It was a scary time...luckily the rescue had a foster who took me home and I proceeded to give birth to 7 more little ankle biters that day!!! And now my little puppy torpedos are almost old enough to be adopted and I am getting ready to find my real home too!! I am now fully in the POST PARTUM part of my life! My babies are all grown and OUT of the nest and I am ready for a family of my own!! (preferably one that DOESN'T shop at Target :) I have the sweetest and most loving personality. I want to have a sweet and loving family too. I am active and playful but will lay in your lap for hours if you scratch me and kiss me and love me! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Honey is spayed, up-to-date on all required vaccines, HW negative and micro chipped. Honey is sweet and affectionate but a little awkward. She just needs a little bit of training to become that perfect dog. Training her mom just hasn’t been up to lately. Honey has one beautiful blue eye and the most adorable ears I’ve ever seen. She weighs about 55 pounds. She would do well with older children that wouldn't be knocked over as well as a good natured doggy sibling. Molly was found starving and less than a third of what her ideal weight should be. She was running around in the streets when she was caught and brought to us. Since then she has begun to put on weight and has started to learn her basic necessities for being adopted such as house training and her name. She is very eager to learn and loves people, wanting to do what she can to make anyone happy. She is very food motivated and very sweet, but still has her puppy like energy and would love to play tug or learn how to fetch. She would benefit from having another canine companion to help show and teach her the ropes. She would do well with kids, though she would be best with kids over the age of 10. She is still healing from everything she went through but Molly is a bright bundle of joy looking forward to the future.
