Sunny was surrendered to DRM in 2018 after her owner passed away and has been loved by her foster mom since then. Sunny is a smart girl and knows all of her basic commands. She also lets you know when she must go outside by pawing at your hand and giving you a quick kiss. She loves to run around in the yard and when she’s tired out, she wants to rest by your side. Sunny wants nothing more than to be by your side and craves attention. Her foster reports that she just wants to be loved and feel safe! Forever in Foster CareReina will be a forever foster in DRM's Program and is NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. Meet Reina! This girl is 7 years old and is handicapable! Reina was originally rescued from a high kill shelter by an all breed rescue. It was apparent she suffered from neurological issues, but nothing could be found on x-rays of her spine. DRM then stepped in and welcomed Reina into our program to get the help needed so she can thrive! Reina was born with a condition that caused the nerves from her back legs to brain to not map completely. Sometimes she can be a bit wobbly and sometimes she suffers from incontinence. She is on a special diet that has helped a lot with her potty issues though! Reina’s favorite activities include snuggling her humans, chewing on bones, going for walks, playdates with her friends and exploring the yard. She also LOVES to chase rabbits and squirrels! When she’s tuckered out, she’ll sunbathe looking out the window or hang out with her foster family. Reina has lived with other dogs and cats – she’s awesome with dogs but can be very curious about her feline friends. Reina is super smart and knows all the basic commands. Her recall is great (as long as she’s not scouting for bunnies or squirrels) and she is very food motivated to learn anything else you’d like to teach her. Aramis is bonding beautifully with the resident female dog, but may require patience with some males. A fenced area is crucial to guarantee his safety. With patience, love, and training, we're convinced he'll continue to flourish. This brilliant, loving boy is house-trained, crate-trained, and mastering leash walking. No experience with the kitties, small dogs or children. He would do best if crated or tethered while in cars because he is rather bouncy and unsettled.
