Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Dash — the happiest 10-month-old purebred, docked, cropped, nub-wagging Doberman you’ll ever meet! This goofy, lovable pup has had a bit of a bumpy start, but he hasn’t let that dampen his spirit one bit. Dash’s original owner sadly passed away, and while a family member kindly stepped in to care for him, they ultimately made the tough decision to surrender him to the shelter. Now, Dash is looking for a fresh start with a forever family who will love him endlessly. dash grew up in a busy household with kids ranging from a baby to pre-teens and had full run of the house — no crate needed! He’s playful, social, and ready to be your shadow. While he previously lived with young children, Dash would do best in a home with older teen kids who understand how to respect a dog’s space and needs — he’s a sweet boy, not a stuffed animal and he does not like kids hanging on him, no dog does! Being a young Doberman, Dash has energy to burn and love to give. His ideal family is active, outdoorsy, and ready to commit to training and keeping his smart mind and busy body engaged. A securely fenced yard is a must for all those joyful zoomies and explorations. He’s food-motivated, eager to please, and a great candidate for obedience training or fun doggy activities, like agility, barn hunts or playing ball. Like many dogs adjusting to shelter life, Dash did get a little stressed in a kennel environment — when he’s anxious, at the kennel he was known to shred a blanket or two, but we do see this often in shelter dogs-that life gets to them in the head! But with the right structure, exercise, and a calm home environment, energy burn-this is something that can absolutely be managed. Dash is neutered, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated — healthy, happy, and ready to go! His adoption fee is $500 plus tax, and comes with unlimited tail wags, snuggles, and loyal companionship. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, high-energy best friend with a heart as big as his paws, Dash just might be your perfect match. Story
Honey is a sweet two year old Doberman/husky mix. Sadly, her mommy has a terminal illness and has reached out to us to find Honey the perfect forever home. Honey is spayed, up-to-date on all required vaccines, HW negative and micro chipped. Honey is sweet and affectionate but a little awkward. She just needs a little bit of training to become that perfect dog. Training her mom just hasn’t been up to lately. Honey has one beautiful blue eye and the most adorable ears I’ve ever seen. She weighs about 55 pounds. She would do well with older children that wouldn't be knocked over as well as a good natured doggy sibling. If you would like to give this cutie pie a place in your family while putting her current mom at ease, please email dogs4mylife@gmail.com or omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our information and application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Selkie: A Sweet Albino Doberman Ready for Her Forever Home Selkie's story began in a tough place. She was originally found in a hoarding situation in Iowa, where she was severely emaciated and expecting a litter of puppies. Despite her difficult start, she has shown incredible strength and resilience. After being rescued, Selkie gave birth to nine beautiful babies, and one by one, they all found their forever homes. Now, it's Selkie’s turn to find the loving family she deserves. Selkie is a stunning Albino Doberman, and her unique appearance is just the beginning of what makes her special. She is fully vetted, spayed, and ready to start her next chapter. She’s a smart, affectionate, and easy-going girl who has flourished in her foster home. With her calm and patient demeanor, she’s a joy to be around and is quickly becoming a favorite among everyone who meets her. Here’s What You Need to Know About Selkie: Albino Doberman: As an Albino Doberman, Selkie has unique care requirements. It's important to understand that albino dogs are more sensitive to sunlight, and Selkie will need to be protected from direct sun exposure to avoid skin damage. Be sure to read up on the specific needs of Albino Dobermans, especially regarding their vision and sensitivity to UV rays. She may also have some hearing or vision sensitivities, which is typical of albinos, but this doesn't hinder her ability to learn or engage. A Heart of Gold: Selkie is a very sweet and loving dog. She’s great with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another playful dog to keep her company. Her gentle nature makes her an ideal companion, and she’s known for being very friendly and easy to get along with. Cat-Savvy: While she’s great with dogs, Selkie can be a bit rough with cats. If you have a dog-savvy cat, she could potentially adjust, but we recommend a cat-free home or one with a dog-friendly feline. Smart & Focused: Selkie is incredibly intelligent and loves to learn. She’s very focused and would do wonderfully in scent work or other training activities. She’s quick to pick up new commands and would thrive in an active home where she can continue to learn and grow. Well-Behaved & Calm: Selkie is kennel and house trained, and she walks wonderfully on a lead. She is calm and well-behaved in public, making her a great companion for outdoor adventures or trips to the dog park. She’s not only a loving companion but also a well-mannered lady who knows how to behave in different settings. Active Home: Selkie is looking for an active home where she can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Whether it’s going for walks, playing in the yard, or engaging in scent work, she’ll thrive in an environment where she’s encouraged to stay active and engaged. A Fenced Yard: Due to her active nature and need for a secure space to play and explore, Selkie will require a home with a fenced yard. This will give her the freedom to run and play safely, while also allowing you to enjoy peace of mind knowing she’s secure. Could You Be the One for Selkie? Selkie is currently located in Iowa and is eagerly awaiting her forever family. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, and loving companion who will reward you with loyalty and joy, Selkie might just be the perfect fit. If you have a fenced yard, are willing to meet her unique needs as an Albino Doberman and have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl, she would love to meet you! Reach out today to learn more about Selkie and see if you’re the perfect match for her!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All potential adopters must fill out  the adoption application.
