Story
Hi there, I'm Tina! About Me: Name: Tina Age: 4 years young Sex: Female Breed: Doberman mix Color: Sleek black Weight: A fit 22 kg My Rescue Story: Once upon a time, I was tied up in a village and my owner moved away without me. The villagers didn't understand how special I am, but thankfully, a kind soul saw my worth and saved me from a grim fate. Now, I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. My Personality: I'm a total lovebug! I adore cuddles and will rub against you like a little shadow. Whether we've just met or known each other for ages, I'm all about showing affection. Belly rubs? Yes, please! I'll show you my tummy as a sign of trust and friendship. I'm a bit of a social butterfly with humans, but I need a slow introduction to other dogs. I'm learning that sharing is caring, especially when it comes to toys and treats. Cats intrigue me, but I'm a good girl and will keep walking if you lead the way. I love a good adventure outdoors, but I'm also content to chill out at home after some fun in the sun. I'm learning to walk nicely on a leash, but sometimes I get a little excited. I promise I'm getting better every day! I'm not food aggressive with my human friends, but I prefer to dine alone without other dogs cramping my style. I'm potty trained and do my business outside like a champ. My Social Skills: I'm still a pup at heart when it comes to playtime! I haven't had much experience with other doggos, so I get super excited and sometimes don't know my own strength and can be a bit aggresive. I'm like a shadow to my walker, following faithfully even when other furry friends are around. Dog parks with lots of pups are a bit overwhelming for me, so I prefer quiet walks where I can be the center of your world. Looking for a Human: I'm searching for someone who loves snuggles as much as I do, enjoys leisurely walks, and appreciates a quiet evening at home. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, I'm your girl! If you think we could be a match made in heaven, let's meet and sniff each other out! Paws and kisses, Tina ##2260925##

MEET DARLA! Darla is a sweet and gentle 6-year-old purebred Doberman Pinscher. (Purebred verified by DNA testing). She is elegant, pretty and very affectionate -- and she gets along great with other dogs. Darla was rescued from a crowded California shelter, and now is a big favorite with volunteers, who call her a "real sweetheart". She is a well-behaved girl, but is quite strong, and will pull when she sees squirrels on a walk! Darla is in good health. She dos have a small lump on her underside, but this has been vet-checked and determined to be a benign fatty tumor, not a source of potential trouble. Darla will be totally devoted to her person. She is a gem and whomever adopts her will be very lucky. She weighs about 65 lbs. Please email for an application.

MEET CARTER! Carter is a 3- to 4-year-old male Doberman-German Shepherd mix (50/50 per DNA testing) who needs a foster or forever home! He looks more like a Dobie than a German Shepherd, and is sweet as they come! Carter was rescued from a scary California shelter, where he was kenneled with another dog and did great. He loves other dogs and is a joy with people, always having a smile to go. He still has some puppy energy, but calms down quickly. He's sweet and affectionate, and very intelligent. He would do best in a home with an active person, people or family with older kids. He would make an ideal family dog. He weighs about 65 lbs. Please email for an application.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing Greta! She is a 3-year-old, 60lb Doberman Pinscher who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Greta is very sweet, loving, and treat motivated girl. She has come to us extremely underweight so she will require a home that is dedicated to bringing her back to health and helping her thrive! She needs work on leash training and will need an adopter that can handle her strength, but would love a forever home that takes her on daily walks and has a yard for her to explore. Greta knows some basic obedience already, but of course would love to continue learning more! She would do best as an only dog in a home or with a laidback male around her size, no cats or small dogs. Greta is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Emily Rue – Your New Adventure Buddy! Currently in a home and due to no fault of her own, is looking for a new forever family. Emily Rue is a sweet, affectionate, and social ~4-5 year-old pup who has blossomed into a confident and well-adjusted companion. She thrives in a stable, structured home where she isn’t left alone for long periods and has another playful dog to keep her company. Crate-trained and well-mannered, Emily sees her crate as a safe and comfortable space when left unattended. She enjoys outdoor adventures, structured training, and car rides, and she absolutely LOVES camping! She’s a fantastic walking partner, travels well, and enjoys being part of a loving family. While she can be shy in large dog groups, she quickly bonds with trusted companions and does well with guests in the home. She has even learned to coexist with a kitten. Emily is playful with her humans and enjoys engaging in fun activities. She has been around children but is generally indifferent to them. She knows all the basic commands, is essentially place-trained, and thrives on positive reinforcement training. While she’s great on walks, she still has some prey drive when off-leash, so she would do best with an active, outdoorsy family—especially one with another dog and possibly children. If you’re looking for a loyal, adventurous, and well-trained companion to join your family, Emily Rue might be the perfect fit!

Animal Profile: Copper is an estimated 3-year-old, 80 lb neutered male Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. He was originally picked up as a stray in Georgia and joined us from via Project Freedom Ride. He was evaluated to be very friendly with dogs and people. Foster Update: Copper is young and full of energy, but it's easy to wear him out with some exercise. He loves to chase balls, although he is still working on returning and dropping them. Copper can be cautious around new people, but once he warms up to them (or they give him a treat), he is very affectionate. He is able to make friends with other dogs after slow and proper introductions. With a confident handler, Copper doesn't react much to other dogs when on leash. He likes to lead but does not pull on walks. Adopter Profile: Single family dwelling with a securely fenced yard. No cats or small animals. Large breed experience and breed experience a plus!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/Bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. Apply online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was picked by animal control in GA and transported via Project Freedom Ride to Seattle.  He arriving here on 10/22/22 and has been in foster care for nearly a year.  He is eager to find his forever home and is available for adoption.November 16, 2024, 12:23 am

Story
Quick Facts • Name: Siena • Age: 3–4 years • Gender: Female • Spayed: Yes • Breed: Pharaoh Hound Mix • Colour: Brown • Height: 45-50 cm (to the shoulder when standing on all fours) My Story Hello! I’m Sienna, and I can’t wait to share my story with you. My journey began in 2022 when I was found in a drainage ditch at a school in Gwangju, having been abandoned. Thankfully, I was rescued and brought to the shelter, where my gentle and sweet nature quickly shone through. I’ve already learned some obedience commands, like sitting and waiting patiently, which shows I’m eager to please! My Social Side I might take a little time to warm up to new faces, but if you offer me a tasty treat, I’ll become your friend in no time! I love snacks and enjoy savoring them slowly, so you’ll often see me taking my time at mealtime. Once I feel comfortable, I enjoy being petted and you can lift me as much as you want. Although I haven’t interacted much with kids under 13, I’m open to forming friendships with gentle humans. I tend to be cautious around energetic dogs, I might need a careful introduction to new furry friends. If another dog provokes me, I might respond to express my discomfort, but I’m more interested in cuddles than conflict! My Energy Level & Walks With a moderate energy level, I love outdoor activities and enjoy exploring during our walks, even if I tend to pull on the leash a bit. I like to follow my nose and see where it takes me! At home, I’m generally quiet, and while I may not bark much, I do have my moments when something interesting happens around us. I’m adaptable with my bathroom habits, using both indoor pads and going outside. More About Me One thing to note is that I’m a bit protective over my food when other dogs are around, so it’s best to supervise me during mealtime. However, I’m not protective and will happily share with my human friends. Also please be mindful when you give me snacks with bones. Just in case I don’t swallow too fast. I can be a bit anxious about getting into the car, so I might need a little help with that. I have a great appreciation for treats and toys, often enjoying my playtime independently. While I may not always seek out interaction with other dogs or people, I bring my own unique charm and affectionate spirit to those around me. Last Message I’m a charming pup with a unique appearance that truly stands out! My sweet nature complements my distinctive looks, making me a delightful companion. I’m looking for a loving home where I can shine and thrive. If you’re ready to embrace my one-of-a-kind spirit, I promise to bring joy and warmth into your life! Story
Quick Facts Name: Hyeji Age: 3 years old (approximate)  Gender: Female  Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Miniature Pinscher Mix  Color: Black Weight: 7.5kg  My Journey I was found wandering in Miryang, South Korea and taken to a shelter in July 2024. I waited patiently for months, but no one came for me. In October 2024, I was placed on the euthanasia list—until a group of kindhearted people came together to save me and 14 of my friends! I was the smallest pup in the group, and now, I’m ready to find my perfect family. My Health Fully vaccinated (October 2024) Spayed Heartworm negative (November 2024)  My Personality I might take a little time to get to know you, but once we become friends, I’ll stick by your side like a shadow! I love following my favorite humans around the house, and if you sit down, I’ll happily snuggle up next to you. I have a calm and gentle personality, and I prefer relaxing to rough play. I love cozy blankets and will happily burrow under them for a good nap. At night, I like to cuddle up close—it makes me feel warm and safe. When I meet new dogs, I politely say hello but usually prefer to observe rather than join in on the fun. I’m not sure how I feel about cats yet, but I’m always gentle and respectful. My Favorite Things Snuggling & Naps – I love curling up next to my favorite human. Calm Walks – I’m great on a leash and love peaceful strolls. Warm Blankets – The cozier, the better!  Life at Home I’m polite and well-mannered indoors. I prefer outdoor potty breaks, and I’m quiet and relaxed in my kennel when needed. While I used to bark in the shelter (it was a stressful place!), I’m actually very quiet at home. I feel safe and secure when I’m with my people, and I settle in beautifully. My Ideal Home I’m looking for a gentle and loving family who will appreciate my sweet and affectionate nature. A Calm & Cozy Environment – I love peace and quiet, so a relaxed home would be perfect for me. A Snuggle Buddy – I thrive on affection and love being close to my humans. A Patient & Kind Companion – I warm up at my own pace, but once I do, I’m all yours! Special Notes If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal, and loving little companion, I might just be the perfect match for you! I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can snuggle, relax, and be loved. ##2318989##

Story
Welcome Skipper to CCPAL Rescue. Skipper is a 90-pound Ridgeback/Dane mix is our best guess. He is a mush to the people he knows and his breed is very loyal. He was adopted out as a tiny puppy and a year and a half later he was found on the streets skinny and with hair loss. He is now back at the rescue and he is doing great. He is friendly to all of us and very happy to see his friends. He didn’t jump up but he does pull on leash. I don’t think he got to do much leash work. He has an adorable widow’s peak. He would be great for a family who has a traveling father or someone not home. You could feel safe that Skipper would keep the family safe. He looks intimidating and has a big bark but very very gentle and goofy to those he loves. He has a low coat and not a big shedding dog. We would like someone who has worked with an extra-large breed or a Ridgeback. He will do good with a strong owner that is willing to work with him to give him direction and training. He is one of our favorites and we think he may be related to JJ who is also available at CCPAL. Skipper has been checked over by the vet and is in good health. He has been given a Bravecto and is growing hair and putting on weight here at the rescue. He would be a great partner for a jogger and due to his large size could definitely keep up with even a faster stride. He can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
