Story
About Lyra: She came from a home that kept her in a cow barn, with her mother and father (and maybe more but thats all I know). She was bred at first heat, but that didnt go well. I was not told what that actually meant. She had a huge hernia too, which needed care. She had no training, was food agressive, cage aggressive and didnt even know her name. She was just under a year when she became mine. Scared and not socialized with other nonfamily dogs, and severely underweight. Her bday is 1/1/21. She is now an amazing dog that is fully ready for a new loving home. If you need a walking or jogging partner, she would be great. She is not great with cats. I have 1 that she ignores, it doesnt run. The other 2 run so she will chase. She is friendly with other dogs but needs to be introduced properly. She will be timid with humans at first but will warm up quickly. She loves giving nonstop kisses and being cuddled. Great with being brushed and toenails cut. Loves her pool too. Cage trained.

Story
Mya was a rescue dog we've had her for approximately 4 years. The rescue said she was Shepherd/Pit mix but we are not so sure. She loves people, kids, and even dogs and cats. However, she was never socialized with dogs and the way she approaches them scares them and they become defensive and attack and then she does the same but when they don't react to her advances she plays with them just fine. She thinks she is a lap dog, loves to lick and cuddle. Very affectionate. She is mostly housebroken, however will rarely go on carpet - never on rugs, vinyl, or laminate. She doesn't like going to the crate (takes forever getting there on command), but she is crated when we are away from home and at night. She sleeps the night without problem in her crate, but will make noise in the morning when she hears us up and about. She will bolt and run if she gets the chance and is too fast - a fenced yard will be needed. Does ok on leash. Wife has dementia and caring for Mya is now a problem.
