Story
Our Lanky guy is house trained, crate trained, loves playing tug-of-war with ropes and his blue ring. He loves belly rubs and snuggles. While he okay with other dogs and cats he takes a bit to be fully comfortable. He’s enjoys kids that are old enough to play or give him attention but we are finding that babies steal too much of the attention he is used to having and that is causing the pain point for us. He does like to bark at animals outside but that can be controlled with treats/positive reinforcement. He does really well with training. He can do the basics: sit, lie down, stay, paw. He will also do a spin and he used to do roll over, but it’s been a while since we practiced that. We are sad to be rehoming, but with our baby, he continues to show jealously towards the attention she gets. Overall he is a sweet boy that wants a family to love, snuggle, play with, and go on walks with. Bonus: He is a perfect work-from-home ‘coworker’ he enjoy napping by you while you work.

Story
I'm not sure why it's saying she's been on here 9 months today's date is 12-16-24. I'm looking to re-home nala, my 1 year old pit mix. Shes such a sweetheart and a great girl! Shes got a lot of energy and does great with other dogs and she hasn't been around cats much, but when she was she was good with them! I have a bunch of stuff to go with her, food, treats, crate, toys all of it.

Story
Hi, my name is Ozzy, but my friends call me Ozzy Bear, because I’m big (90lbs) and cuddly. I was adopted from a local rescue in 2019 as a puppy. If you are looking for an oversized cuddle bug who will protect you and make you feel safe in your home, I’m your guy! When you meet me you will notice my gentle and loving demeanor right away. I love to be outside and will play fetch when i have the energy. My favorite thing to do is lay in the grass on a sunny day. When it's rainy outside, I would love to curl up on the couch with you and watch movies. I'm very food motivated and learn quickly. I'm also a graduate from "Got your 6" training in Jefferson City. I care a great deal about my family and I will watch for intruders all day. I even prevented a break in once when i saw people trying to break into our car. I love my fur brother, but in his old age he has become very grumpy with me. It scares me and I try to protect myself. I know I will be the perfect fit for the right family.

Story
Ace is loyal, affectionate, and active. We got Ace from MO Wiggle Butts when my youngest was 3 and having big emotional outburts related to speech delay. Ace let him snuggle, rough-house, cry into his fur, and was endlessly patient and calm. He follows my husband and I from room to room so he can lay right at our feet, including under the dinner table. Ace is about 5, and he needs an owner(s) that can safely monitor his guard dog tendencies. He needs big walks and/or room to run. He is protective of his owners around strangers, particularly men, but when he is away from his family, for example boarding at the vet, he does just fine. We live on a corner lot on a very busy street where passersby have complained about Ace "patrolling" our fence line. Our kids also have a habit of leaving the front door wide open when they go out to play, and Ace has chased a couple of door-to-door salesmen down the street. It was scary, but he never hurt anyone. He is just trying to protect his family.

Story
I have had Luna almost entirely since she was born, which was November 2021. I bred shepskies for a little while, and she was slated to be adopted to a new family. However, they decided they didn't want her anymore (they were elderly and her energy was a little high for them). I held onto her hoping to find a good family, but am just now making the attempt. She's very energetic and talkative. In the past she has been very skittish with people other than me, but lately she seems to be getting better. She is lightly house trained, and may need more though she doesn't make accidents in the house. She still is in the chewing phase. I have had her around a cat in the past, but it's been 2 years since, so I don't know how she would act around a cat. She's never been around kids. Also, the other dogs in the 2nd picture are her parents, GSD (dad) & Siberian Husky (mom). Any questions, please ask!

Story
Lucy was brought into our family October 27, 2020 as a puppy. We got her from Petersen Aussie Ranch in Buffalo, MO. We believe Lucy was the runt in the litter because she is undersized for a typical Aussie. During her younger years she attended a doggy daycare. Lucy is a good girl she understands a wide range of commands. Lucy is smart, friendly and loving. The only problem Lucy has struggled with is she gets excited and she will jump up and try to hug you. Lucy is great with our kids and great with other pets. She is a beautiful, smart and loving dog. She just wants attention and love. We are unfortunately rehoming her due to our busy schedule with 4 kids and our recent newborn has Chronic Lung Disease so we are trying to minimize pet dander. Lucy is a sweetheart and deserves a loving home. Lucy is a great companion dog, she will snuggle with you and sit on your lap. Lucy is energetic and loves to run. Lucy is great dog and we would love to find her a loving home to go to.
