Story
Hey all you loooovely people! My name's Lady, but don't think that because I can be prim and proper that it doesn't mean I don't pack a punch!! Not literally, of course, I'd never hurt my people. But to anyone trying to hurt my people!! Oh ho ho, that's where I draw the line. Besides all that, I love love LOVE chasing toys and chittering my lips when I get super excited! I'm a very active little Lady (hah, get it? 'LADY'?) and extremely loyal to my people. Stop by and throw me a ball!! Just don't get between me and my current people (the Shelter Staff) and we'll be best friends in no time!

Story
Lyle’s Story: The Brilliant Pack Leader Hi there, I’m Lyle! I’m a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix with a brain as big as my heart. People say I’m super smart—and they’re not wrong! I’ve got a knack for problem-solving, and I’ve been known to open my kennel at the shelter lickety-split with just a swipe of my nose. The staff had to clip it shut, but hey, can you blame me for showing off my skills? Life is better when I’m with my favorite humans and my best buddy, Milo. Milo and I are a dynamic duo, though some think I’m the sidekick. Spoiler alert: I’m actually the one in charge! I love leading the pack during walks to make sure everyone’s together and safe. Being the responsible one is kind of my thing. I’m a big fan of people—especially kids! I thrive on love, playtime, and mental challenges. I do have a discerning taste in dog friends, though, so a little patience is key while I find my crew. Long, boring days without company aren’t for me; they make me anxious. I need a family who understands my need for adventure and stimulation. If you’re looking for a clever, loyal, and loving companion, look no further. I’d be the perfect addition to your home, bringing endless joy and a touch of brilliance to your days. Come meet me at the shelter—I can’t wait to show you why I’m the pup for you! With love and nose boops, Lyle 🐾

Meet Freckles Color: Freckles is the color of cinnamon and a creamy wool cardigan, bringing warmth and comfort wherever she goes. Breed: Best guess? Shepherd/Husky mix Age: 4 years old Personality: Super happy to see people; Super cuddly with bright, expressive eyes; Loves to go for walks and is pretty darn good on a leash Compatibility: Seems good with cats, not a fit for a household with other dogs. We just don't know how she is with kids yet. Notes: Freckles is an intelligent dog and is very trainable. She is enthusiastic about going for walks Her affectionate nature and love for cuddles and play make her a wonderful companion for the right home. Visit: Come meet Freckles at the Battlefords Humane Society! She's ready to find her forever home and bring joy to your life. As with all our adoptable pets, Freckles is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
