Story
Drake is a friendly, loving, cuddling, high-energy dog who loves to play fetch and splash in water! He’s great off a leash and can catch balls out of mid air. He is curious outside, but will come when called (even if he trots out the front door). We took him to dog parks, Yard Bar, on hiking trails, Zilker and have a daily ball-launcher fetch routine! If you’re looking for a dog to go exploring with who will plop his head in your lap in the evening then Drake is your dog! Sadly, I just got divorced so I feel guilty about how little I get to take him out, and my five young kids aren’t good about reading his body language and would very rarely get nipped at if they were jumping on top of him (though he’s typically very patient). If you adopt him, I can throw in a large steel crate toys and gear to play fetch with!

Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details

Story
Wattson was a stray that ate scraps at my grandma's house in Mexico. Eventually she had a litter behind her house and her pups started to die. I rescued her and her last pup and brought them home. Wattson is now thriving and she loves to run and chase/bark at squirrels and wild bunnies. She will require a large yard to spend energy in because walks are not quite her enough for her. Wattson is good with other dogs and children, but due to her prey drive may not do well with cats. Although she loves to run, Wattson also loves to be around her person. She will tag along just about anywhere and beg for pets. She also potty trained very quickly but when she is afraid (think thunderstorms, or chasing her if she got out) she is prone to accidents. She does well in a crate overnight though. One of Wattson's favorite things is to be carried, she will hang on to you as long as you are willing to let her. She is not keen of car rides though so lots of love is needed when transported.

Story
Star is a 12 year old retired PTSD service dog. He was 57 pounds at his last vet visit. He has arthritis. I need to rehome him due to an upcoming divorce and greatly reduced income. He is given gabapentin for his arthritis once a day ($9.50 per month). Service dog training begins with Canine Good Citizen training. We did not take the CGC test, but Star would pass it with a quick run through the steps. He loves children, laying in sun spots, and watching over the neighborhood from the front yard. He does not like baths. He shakes. He does not like thunderstorms. He shakes, whines a little, and looks at you pleading to make it stop. If he barks once every six months, that is a lot. If you take a turn in the car roughly, he comments on it with a moan. (grin) You are only in danger of being licked and leaned on. He has worked with many trainers who describe him as a marshmallow.

Details

Story
Bear is 3 years old. We got him from our friend's oops litter. Unfortunately, we no longer have time or energy for him at this point in our life; both work full-time out of the home and have 2 small kids. Bear gets along with people of all ages (although he is not aware of how big or strong is he.) He is content to be a couch potato but is also always ready to run and play with you. He will always greet you at the door to welcome you home. He would do best in a home with an experienced owner. He is reactive towards other animals and does have a prey drive as well.

Story
I got him from a coworker when he was eight weeks old he is now over a year old. I don’t want to re-home him. I have to because he bit a family member. He’s a really sweet, loving dog and loves to sit on the couch and cuddle. He is very active and loves to run and play. He has some training like sit, lay down, shake paw, to go to his cage and is house trained. He does pretty good with training. He has attacked our other two dogs in the past, but still plays with them without incident. We aren’t sure what his triggers are, so far it seems to be protectiveness over me and/or jealously of the other dogs when I am giving them attention he also seems to have some anxiety. I would like for him to go to a loving home where someone would be able focus on him and give him love, attention, training, and work with him on his behavior and anxieties. I personally don’t think he should be in a home with young children, elderly people, small dogs or cats
