Story
We found Max about 8 months ago starved and in poor condition. His owner was abusive and neglectful and Max was basically on his own. We began feeding him, took him to the vet to have him neutered and get his shots, and he began staying with us some. His owner gave him to us about 2 months ago and Max is now in good shape and ready for a new owner. The house we're living in has been sold and we're moving out and, unfortunately, losing our fenced yard for at least a year while we build a house and live in an RV. Max needs an experienced owner who can work with him on a few things. But he's really smart, very athletic, eager to learn and looking forward to a lifelong home with a new owner. He's leash trained, house trained, kennel trained and in fact, loves his kennel. He will still counter surf if you leave food out but we're working on that.He hasn't been around people very much and needs help with that. The good news is, you will no longer need to compost. Max will handle it!

Story
Freeway was found by one of our clients running on the freeway (hence how she got her name). She is roughly a year and a half to two years old, she is great with large dogs and especially loves the XL dogs, she does have some slight eye sight issues when it is sunny outside but this doesn't slow her down at all and is only really prevalent when its super bright outside. She can be a couch potato as well as a girl who loves to fetch with her peanut butter scented ball. Absolutely adores people and just wants to cuddle any chance that she can get. She is spayed and is up to date on shots.

Story
This is Judge! He is a 6 month old brindle pitbull mix that we adopted from the Bastrop Animal Shelter back in February. Judge is very outgoing, playful, & smart. He is extremely treat motivated, which makes him easily trainable. Judge graduated from an AKC puppy class in May where he learned all his basic commands. He is up to date on all his vaccines and is also potty trained. Judge plays well with other dogs, especially female dogs. However, we do believe he belongs in a single-dog household. The reason for rehoming Judge is due to his tendency to resource guard from his housemate (food, treats, toys, etc). He has never shown any aggressiveness towards people. We honestly do not want to rehome Judge. He is a great dog. However, we cannot risk our other small dog getting injured at this point. A large dog crate, dog bed, food, & toys would be included with his adoption. We’re hoping to find a wonderful and loving home for Judge because he truly deserves it!

Story
We adopted Happy thinking we were ready for a puppy with our autistic son, however we do not have the time to properly invest in training her and our children are still a little too young to handle a puppy. She is a good dog and extremely friendly, very excitable but extremely affectionate. She has her first two parvo shots and has recently been dewormed. Happy is a Labrador Retriever Mix, we are unsure of the mix.
