Dennis the menace was a pretty cute kid. Therefore I am cute too! I am an adult, with puppy-like exuberance for life and food! I arrived at the rescue with my wife (Dee Dee) and our kid (Donna) after being left in our backyard when our "family" moved. Can you imagine? I gave them 3 years of devotion, and they just leave me like an old newspaper..... So, enough about my sorted past, let's look at my BRIGHT FUTURE!!! I am a handsome guy, full of love for life. I love female dogs, male dogs are more challenging because I am an alpha sort of dog, with the females I am fine- even dominant females like my Dee Dee. I am a good 60lbs, I'm such a big boy who makes for great cuddles! I am a good protector of your home and my people. I won't let those pesky neighbors over, unless you invite them ;) I have lots of fun running and playing and I would be a great outdoor adventure buddy! Let's get on the trails and go! HELLO YA HELLO it’s me Sieta - Please take a look at me. I have been with my foster family for a few months and boy have I grown. Mom says I am turning into a beautiful, graceful long legged girl! My foster mom says I am practically prefect in every way. I love every human big and small. I love having dog friends also big or small meet as well. I’ve spent some time with 2 temp fosters because mom & dad went on vacation. Both of them said I was amazing! Deb even said I walk on a leash better than her dog!! I love going on walks, hanging on a patio as well as playing fetch. Mom lets me play tug for a few seconds when I bring the toy back but as soon as she says “give” I let go. I know sit, down, off (I very seldom jump up), come or touch and am working on shake. Mom is so amazed with how smart I am, she keeps telling people I am training myself. I just want to please everyone. I bark some when people walk by, my foster sisters taught me this, but if mom or dad tells me to stop I listen. I love going to new places and exploring! I do get sick in the car so mom and dad make sure they don’t feed me too much if we are going somewhere and I take Dramamine. This has helped a ton! I am about 90% potty trained. I sleep in my kennel at night but would really love to snuggle with you. I am a love bug! One of my siblings got adopted and his furever family did a DNA test. It shows he is 52% Argentine Dogo and 100% good dog. I have met so many amazing people and all I want is people of my own to love unconditionally. Gotta go – mom wants to play fetch. His birthday is around June of 2020, a pandemic puppy! He came to rescue over two years ago with his deaf sister, Amara.. They had each other but didn't know that humans could communicate with them. Seeing the light bulb come on has been so fun! Angus knows " Come, Kennel Up, and Sit" but everything else, he reads from his foster mom's body language. Angus loves to play outside with his sister and smell all the smells. He loves to have toys so much that he'lloften race inside so he can gather up all the toys (especially from his sister's kennel before we notices) and hoard them in his kennel. He has a wonderful relationship with Amara, his sister. It would be nice if they were adopted them together but it's not required. We ask that he be the only other animal in the home, except for his sister, just because there's a learning curve for other animals about how to make their presence known so deaf dogs aren't "snuck up on". Angus does not have a mean bone in his body but he's a bit of a bull in a China shop kind of boy! He just likes to run fast and slide through his turns! A fenced in yard is required so Angus can be free to explore and smell all the smells. This boy will steal your heart the minute you meet him. Update 6.1.24 Zeke has enjoyed being outside the last few weeks with the nice weather, he has no problem going out when it is raining, wiping him off is a challenge though since he doesn't like being touched. He gets the zoomies when he comes in from outside sometimes, that is usually a sign that he has pooped. Him and our resident boxer like to play keep away, it is usually him chasing and eventually getting the toy. Between 9-9:30 pm he has had enough and whines to go outside and will typically put himself in his kennel letting you know that it is bedtime, although he currently is curled up in the dog bed occasionally whining because he thinks he should be in his kennel but for some reason he won't put himself to bed. My husband says that he really likes his walks and that he really only whines when he wants/needs something. Things are going well here. Zeke is a really good dog that is looking for his forever home. He is a curious boy with all the Boxer attitude, and is sweet and playful and does well with our other dogs. He loves his toys and is learning how to fetch. The cat is not an issue for him so a home with a cat could work just fine. He is vocal when he plays and loves to play hard like a typical Boxer. Zeke loves his kennel and puts himself to bed when he is tired. He loves to ride in the car, is independent and food and treat motivated. He is housebroken. He isn't a fan of being touched when he's sleeping - he'll grumble and walk away. We have only had him for a few days and he is doing great.
