Meet T-Bone! He's a brand new arrival to the shelter, but he's already opened up to the staff and volunteers with his friendly, sweet demeanor. They know that once he gets to know you, he'll be just as loving with you. We don't have any information on his previous history, but based off of his state coming in to the shelter, he's had a bit of a rough start. Nonetheless, T-Bone doesn't seem to hold any grudges against the world or humans. If anything, he thrives off of human affection! T-Bone is a gentle, affectionate, and quiet dog looking for a home where he can be by his owner's side. He has not yet been evaluated for his dog-friendliness, but in his initial meetings with shelter volunteers, he seemed to prefer human companionship and was not particularly interested in the other pups that were out and about that day. We think he might have some Dogo Argentino in him based off of his looks, but suspect that he's a mixed breed or unknown background. He is a sweet, gentle, and absolutely loyal companion and deserves a home that will give him the love and care he needs. If you're looking for an affectionate companion, you may have just found your new best friend! Please consider adopting T-Bone. If you have other pets or children in your household, please be advised that we recommend bringing them down to the shelter to meet T-Bone and see if they get along before adopting. Meet Roy, a young, playful and energetic soul who is always ready to make your day brighter. He loves to play fetch, walk downtown, and is always up for a game of tug-of-war. He is ready for a car ride to the nearest lake so he can splash around in! He loves other dogs and gets along with them beautifully! He also is crate trained! Roy is currently in a loving foster home. To meet him, please submit an adoption request form. One of our adoption counselors will then call you to connect with his fosters shortly.

Goose is a very big sweet goofball that thinks everybody and everything is his friend. He is strong minded and needs a home that will not let him run wild and put his big ol' brain to work. He is quit smart, learns quickly and is eager to please once his streak of defiance is worked past. He lives up to the true nature of a Dogos in this aspect. He loves all people, dogs and cats. He is even good with livestock. Hes a true lover an would thrive with an active family. His adoption will include him being fully vetted (neutered, microchip, all vaccines) He is available for be transferred to you by ground transport.

Dennis the menace was a pretty cute kid. Therefore I am cute too! I am an adult, with puppy-like exuberance for life and food! I arrived at the rescue with my wife (Dee Dee) and our kid (Donna) after being left in our backyard when our "family" moved. Can you imagine? I gave them 3 years of devotion, and they just leave me like an old newspaper..... So, enough about my sorted past, let's look at my BRIGHT FUTURE!!! I am a handsome guy, full of love for life. I love female dogs, male dogs are more challenging because I am an alpha sort of dog, with the females I am fine- even dominant females like my Dee Dee. I am a good 60lbs, I'm such a big boy who makes for great cuddles! I am a good protector of your home and my people. I won't let those pesky neighbors over, unless you invite them ;) I have lots of fun running and playing and I would be a great outdoor adventure buddy! Let's get on the trails and go! Dennis can only be adopted in the local area. Local adoption fee is $200.
