Story

Hercules is looking for someone to be their hero. This 3 year old 170 pound Bull Mastiff is massive and definitely the size of a small pony. He is a lazy, affectionate big OOF that needs someone bigger and stronger than him to make him their sidekick in life. Being the only dog would be so good for him since the former owner never socialized him with other dogs. He assumed that Hercules might be a little aggressive or assertive and so we just don’t know for sure. Maybe a female dog would be fine but we doubt a male would be a good idea in the future home. He is not great on a leash. Noone took that time to really train him but it still is doable with the right person knowing how to do it. He is housebroken, crate trained and he is not destructive in the house. This boy will make you laugh, make you want to protect him (even though he is big) and he will love you unconditionally and who in the world would ever break in to your home!? Goodness they would be insane. This boy loves people though….but if you don’t know him then he could be a nice guardian. A fenced yard would be the perfect environment for everyone. When people think of Snow, they think cold. With this Snow, picture warmth, love, and cuddles. This five year old, just shy of fifty pound sweetheart is all about her people. She has bursts of play but is mainly a calm dog. She is all about being by her person and wanting the love. Now, for men, some she loves and some she has to take a minute to relax around. Snow currently lives with an 80 pound male and a 23 pound female companion. She can be a sassy thing and wants what she wants - a tiny bit of a diva in there. She has met other playful dogs and done well. She also has hung out with another 100 pound male lab. Took her a second to realize he was a lover not a fighter but they are now fast friends. Snow needs a six foot privacy fence for her backyard space. Now who wants Snow to be your cuddle buddy for many years to come! Location: Scottsville, VABruno is more than ready to finally find his forever home! If you know someone who is looking for a best friend and companion- let them know! This deserving boy is UTD on shots and neutered. His true age is unknown but we’ve settled on thinking he is more between the 5-6 year old range. He is amazing at his basic commands…sit, lay down, stay, paw and UP! When trail walking he has unbelievable leash skills…he never pulls on a leash and watches your pace to see if he should walk faster to keep up with you or slow down to stay right there by your side. He is a mostly calm boy who loves to lounge around all day (and would be happy to do so!) but loves to run and play with toys for just a little while (in a fenced in yard) when a companion is nearby. He has been great around multiple female dogs. He sleeps through the entire night by your side! This guy is truly something special…he is a velcro dog and is destined to be someone’s best friend. He follows you everywhere and will happily lay at your feet (or in your bed?), go on car rides or just walk around the yard with you. He is a very faithful companion. He is just a GREAT dog!
