Story
How this pet arrived: Noa was brought in by a community member on July 5, 2024.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Noa, a pint-sized fluffball full of sass and spirit. What can we say about this little fluff ball? Does she like pets, not really, does she thoroughly enjoy her own space, absolutely, can you win her over with some tasty churu, quite possibly. She can be hesitant about new faces and places, so she'll need a gentle and patient family to help her feel safe. She would prefer another social kitty in the home to show her the ropes. Noa dreams of a serene home without the hustle and bustle of young children or dogs. She's a huge fan of treats - it's definitely the way to her heart! If you're ready to earn her trust, we're hoping that Noa will reward you with sweetness and loyal companionship! To adopt Noa, complete the interest form today!Shy/Fearful Cat: Noa requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Story
How this pet arrived: Uni was brought in by her previous owner on September 19, 2024.Why this pet is the one for you:Uni isn't here to be your cuddle buddy-she's here to rule her kingdom (formerly known as your home) with quiet confidence and just the right amount of sass. She enjoys peace, personal space, and a life free of chaotic intrusions like children, dinner parties, or nosy houseguests. If your ideal night includes hosting game night, Uni suggests you play without her. She's an independent lady who prefers attention on her terms. Thinking of petting her uninvited? Bold move. Uni will decide when and how she interacts, and until then, she'll be observing you like a judgmental art critic from her favorite perch. That said, when evening rolls around, she transforms from an elegant house panther into a full-blown zoomie tornado-spinning through your home with the force of a tiny, four-legged tempest. One moment she's a shadow in the corner, the next she's a blur of fur whipping through hallways like a gust of mischief. Once the storm has passed and her zoom quota is met, she'll gracefully retire for the night, as if nothing ever happened. Other cats? Beneath her. Children? Not a chance. A mellow, cat-savvy dog? Maybe, if they understand they are a mere peasant in her domain. If you're fluent in "Cat" and appreciate a strong, independent feline who knows what she wants, Uni might deem you worthy of her presence. Just don't forget a large top-loading carrier for her grand exit-every queen needs a proper chariot. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 13.22 Age: 3yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
How this pet arrived: Loki was brought in by his previous owner on February 16, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Loki, the trickster king of cats-mysterious, independent, and always one step ahead of his mere mortal subjects. He'll grace your home with his presence, but don't expect him to grovel for affection. Cuddles? Beneath him. Pets? Only if he allows it (which he won't). Loki prefers to rule from the shadows-or better yet, from a high perch where he can observe his domain with an air of calculated mischief. A fully enclosed catio would be an acceptable throne room for his majesty. Loki must be adopted with at least one of his loyal siblings, Royal (940161) or Chaton (940160), because even a trickster needs a trusted ally. He demands a home without children or dogs-chaos is fun when he's the one causing it, not when it's forced upon him. If you seek a cat who respects boundaries (and expects you to respect his), Loki might be the perfect, if slightly aloof, deity for your home. Just ensure he has a quiet kingdom, plenty of space to scheme, and, of course, a large, top-loading, hard-sided carrier-because Loki does not do peasant transport.Shy/Fearful Cat: Loki requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Story
How this pet arrived: Violet was brought in by a community member on February 19, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Violet, a delicate flower of a cat who is looking for a calm, cozy home where she can bloom at her own pace. She's a little on the shy side, so she'll need a quiet space to settle in and observe her kingdom from a safe, strategic hiding spot. Violet recently underwent a left leg amputation, so for the next couple of weeks, she'll need to take it easy-no zoomies, acrobatics, or competitive parkour. A serene environment is key to her healing, and she may be open to a polite, cat-friendly roommate. Tiny humans? No, thank you. Violet prefers a household that operates at a whisper rather than a full-volume cartoon marathon. If you're ready to give this sweet, sophisticated lady the gentle love she deserves, don't forget your cat carrier-she's coming home in style!Shy/Fearful Cat: Violet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Story
How this pet arrived: KC was brought in by his previous owner on March 2, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:KC is a shy but curious kitty who takes his time warming up to new people, but once he feels safe, he enjoys affection and pets. He craves companionship and loves being around those he trusts. KC would thrive in a quiet home where he can build a bond through treats, toys, and playtime with a wand. He has a playful side and enjoys catnip toys and climbing on cat trees. KC is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which means his immune system is slightly weakened, making routine vet check-ups and good dental care especially important. FIV is primarily spread to other cats through deep bite wounds, so we recommend he be the only cat in the home. He also has mild dental tartar, so his future family should be mindful of his health needs. With patience and love, we believe KC will be a loyal and affectionate companion! At SDHS:KC has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!FIV+ Cats: Please click HERE to learn more about cats with FIV.
