Story
Pearl – Available for Adoption * Pearl is still waiting for her forever home. She would like to be your one & only. She’s not a fan of other cats. * Pearl would love to find a home where she can relax as an only cat and receive the affection she loves from her humans. She is a beautiful fluffy girl with a perpetually surprised look in her eyes – pictures do not do her justice. Together with her penchant for perching herself in odd places to contemplate her world, this makes her an eccentric charmer. She loves affection from humans, and goes crazy chasing a laser spot around the room, including leaping up high to catch it. Pearl was another unfixed dump job that was luckily rescued before she was impregnated. When found she was petrified and frozen with fear when rescued. She doesn’t seem to be a fan of other cats, but she is longing for some loving by humans. Pearl is approximately a year old, spayed, negative for FeLV and FIV, and up-to-date on all her shots. If you are interested in meeting her, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org Sent 11m ago

Story
I would like to find Charlie a loving home where she can live the remainder of her life. She is almost 13 and an extremely sweet and shy cat. She does not do well in new situations and will growl/hiss until she is comfortable around someone new. She is not aggressive at all but is very shy. I hope to find someone that is patient and kind and looking for an only cat. We have to give her up due to allergies/asthma in the household. She has lived with dogs and children but would prefer not to/

MEET NIEVE - Check out my beautiful heterochromic eyes! Check out his videos! This gorgeous guy may be part Turkish angora, or at least that`s the story he`s telling us. :) Nieve, which means snow, has a few favorite things in life: Churu, cardboard scratching pads (see video below!) and, here at the shelter, getting head scratching with a back scratcher. His previous owner says he is a quiet cat, although he`s beginning to carry on conversations with us now. Nieve lived with a couple of dogs who stressed him, so we think he`d love to be the only animal in his new home. He also let us know that he`d like his new home to be a quiet one in which his new family would let him settle in at his own pace. Maybe yours? Please note that Nieve has some medical concerns so his new family should establish a good relationship with a vet. Nieve is currently up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick preventative, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and examined by our vet team. For more information on Nieve or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.Playtime!

MEET THEO - Watch his videos!*FIV+Since we moved Theo to an open space with other cats, we are seeing the real Theo emerge! Watch his videos! If you introduce yourself to Theo with a slow approach and some yummy wet food in hand, Theo soon gets confident and leans into pets, shows his impressive elevator bum and purrs - he`s even gotten onto laps! This gentle and quiet boy has been with us for a while, but being in a kennel was not his best venue. Now that he can stretch his legs in the company of other felines, we are delighted to finally meet Theo the happy cat!Theo is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Theo or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
MEET CHARLIE - Watch her video!Charlie has won us over with her sensitive, sweet personality. At around 12 years old, Charlie is looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can be spoiled in her golden years. Part of spoiling her will mean she is the only pet in the home, as Charlie is not a fan of sharing her space. She also enjoys being petted (watch her video!) and brushed, which is a great way to bond with her. Charlie struggles with transitions and we are hoping that she can go home with a patient adopter who can give Charlie everything she needs to settle in at her own pace. If you`d like to meet Charlie and see if you`re her guardian angel, she`s located at our Dedham branch. Charlie is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Charlie or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
We call her Shoe, like the old woman who lived in one and had too many kids, because apparently she was allowed to breed indiscriminately for 10 years (at least) and was living on an open porch before I took her and 4 kits in. She is spayed now, of course, but she's partially deaf from horrifying ear infections that I cleaned up and have since resolved. She's much calmer after having been spayed and is looking for a quiet home where she can relax and find love. She really does want to be friendly, and she sleeps on a corner of my bed when my other cat is not around.
