Story
Jennyanydots is an incredibly shy but sweet lady. During the day Jenny is happiest curled up on her foster moms pillow or sitting in a sunny window. At night she comes out in the kitchen and curls up on the dining room chairs and watches the activity of the other cats and her foster dad, because he is the family night owl. Jenny loves to be pet but she is shy about approaching. She will come up to you when things are very quiet and calm or prefers you approach her slowly. She would do well in a forever home that is peaceful and where she is either the only cat or with one other friendly cat sibling. Born 1/3/2014 Jennyanydots grew up as a street/porch cat in the Fairmount neighborhood of Fort Worth. One day a nice family noticed that Jenny was looking pretty thin and worn and decided to help her out. They took her to get spayed and her shots. Then they brought her to Meowntown to find her a loving family. Due to her life on the streets Jenny had some pretty bad teeth that had to be pulled. The vet also discovered she was missing several other teeth and had some that were broken. The vet said it was most likely from trying to break into containers trying to get food and defending herself on the street. Because of her dental problems, Jenny will require annual teeth cleanings and a wet food diet to help keep her happy and healthy. She also needs help brushing and cleaning her beautiful fur coat. She is okay with other cats, dogs and older kids. If you are interested in me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with my foster home!

Story
Hello! I'm Misty. I'm a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm the sweetest girl. I love to keep to myself, enjoying quiet moments of solitude. But don't let my independence fool you, I still crave your gentle scritches and soft whispers. I used to have my family, my little ones. They've all found homes, leaving me behind. I don't mind though, I'm happy they're loved. But now it's my turn to find a forever home. Adopt me, and I promise to fill your life with serene, mellow companionship.

Story
I found these kittens in my garage and brought them inside to tame them and find them homes. They are playful and comfortable around people (including kids), cats, and dogs, and they are eating canned cat food. They are using the litter box, but have had some occasional accidents. I am not asking for an adoption fee, but I do ask that you show that you have things like a litter box, food, toys, etc, and of course it would be ideal to adopt two together. Feel free to message with any questions or for pictures of particular kittens. -1 Long haired black with faint stripes -3 short haired black with faint stripes -1 Short haired orange tabby -1 Short haired gray tabby -1 Long haired gray tabby

Story
Morticia is a about 7-8 year old long haired black cat. We adopted her about a year and a half ago, she was originally owned by an older lady who had to go to a nursing home. It took her time to adjust to a new place but once she does she is super sweet, she loves laying on your chest and getting pets. She also likes and is used to getting wet food a couple times a week. We had another cat and they got along great but we recently got my daughter a kitten and she just isn't adjusting well to having a kitten constantly wanting to play. We hate saying goodbye to her but we believe she would be happier in a house with less animals and chaos. I am also currently pregnant and don't want a baby to disrupt her even more. We believe it's in her best interest to be in a home where either she is the only cat or only one other cat closer to her age and docile like her.
