Story
Loki is the most laid back cat you will ever meet. He just like to eat and lay right next to you (or on you). He is very cuddly, the definition of the Velcro cat. He is pretty lazy so he doesn’t play a lot, but he will chase a laser. He won’t jump on counters at all. He’ll barely jump on a couch, you have to pick him up lol. He does very well with kids. Since he is so calm, he doesn’t prefer young and playful children that will bother with him. But older kids are great! He likes other cats as well, he likes to play and lay with them but doesn’t like to fight. He doesn’t do well with dogs, he is very timid and will stalk them. I have to give him away due to ongoing costs. I can’t afford to take him to vet appointments or to continue to give him the supplies he needs. I would love to find a home that can provide him the life he deserves. He really is the sweetest little boy. I know you will love him.

***Kittens benefit from the companionship of each other. *****Adopt one and HRA will waive the adoption fee for the second! **I'm in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to set up a time to meet with me, please email my foster parent at fosterkittensofdc@gmail.comWhile Thunder can be initially shy and cautious in new situations, once comfortable you learn what a sassy little lady she is who isn't afraid to ask for what she wants with this totally hilarious airy meow that barely makes any noise at all. While she may not be the smartest lady on the block, what she lacks in brains she makes up for with her good looks. She absolutely loves her beauty time - getting brushed out to look even floofier, she'll thank you by curling up on your lap or right alongside you. She is a typical goofy kitten who embraces the play hard and sleep harder kitten life motto. She would absolutely love to be adopted with her foster sibling, Savior (and you can adopt two for one adoption fee!), or into a home with a resident cat she can romp around with.

Story
So many stories in the rescue world about cats and they all seem to have the same start all too often and too sad.  This stunning grey tabby and white boy is called Chester, he is just barely one year of age and born to a stray momma cat.  Living outdoors all his life, his momma brought him and his littermates to a family house where she hoped to be fed and to care for her litter born outside a home.  Somehow her 4 kittens survived and here is Chester to prove that miracles can happen for these lost and forgotten mommas and their babies.  Chester is now a very handsome 13 pound boy that has been invited inside a foster home and is being given the wide berth to relax and make himself at home as a pampered and well fed adult cat.  He’s still super shy and will hide a lot under the bed, but he is starting to come out for some play time and chin scratches.  In just 4 days he has made such strides and advancements to allow toys to entice him to come out several times without fear and allow his new foster mom Joyce to pet him and given him chin rubs.  He is learning to be petted and to trust this new foster mom.  He and his littermates are all grown up but very young and they are getting better with the litterbox training and are eating with a hearty appetite.  We feel that time and patience will see Chester and his siblings stay out from under a bed or in hiding more and more as they learn they are safe and have a promise of food and love every day for the rest of their life.  If you are interested in helping Chester learn daily how to receive love and be happy with being touched, then please email us and ask to foster him or adopt him.   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com we are anxious to find a capable home to love him all the way. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.  August 19, 2024, 2:03 pm
