Story
URGENT: I am fostering Pony (male) as his original owner (family member) moved across country. I am looking for that special someone who is willing to be patient with him on arrival. Once he feels safe with you, he is super friendly, affectionate and lovable. He loves companionship. He can be wary of strangers so a quiet , not active household is best. No kids. He also loves to play. ***He is SO READY to fly into your heart giving you lots of cuddles and attention. P/T play enthusiast and a full-time heart meter*** If you are ready to smile everyday Pony is the one! On arrival here in his foster home he was very scared/fearful and it took patience to get him to feel confident. Does happen with all cats but he is not confident. (previous cat skills is a MUST) We have all supplies, even an automatic water feeder. He is about four years old, chipped and neutered. (I am close to surrendering him as my cat is showing extreme signs of stress from him).

Story
Xochi is a sweet, quirky cat with so much love to give. She loves cuddling on the floor and getting pets on her belly. She’s shy at first but eager for pets once she gains a little trust. We adopted her as a kitten with her brother and littermate 5 years ago. While they were bonded for the first couple of years, sadly over time their relationship has begun to cause her significant distress, as her brother has a habit of playing too aggressively. She will thrive in a quiet, pet-free and kid-free home where she can have lots of time to herself and her adult human companions. She also needs a special rabbit protein diet due to food sensitivity and is otherwise very healthy. Some of our favorite things about Xochi are her gentle spirit, how she loves independent play and rubbing against any feet that she can get near. When she plays by herself she loves throwing feather toys up in the air and then catching them. Everyone who meets her is enamored by her charm, and good nature.

Story
Boogie is ~5 years old and I adopted him as a kitten from a rescue organization. He is quite an anxious kitty, but is super friendly once warmed up and will even let you baby carry him. He has soft fur, loves playing with most toys, and is very athletic. He would prefer a household with no dogs, and maybe certain cats. He loves to play so he might overwhelm other cats if they're not as high energy. I lost my job and cannot afford ongoing vet treatments for him (he is urinating outside of the litter box everydayfrom stressors).

Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with moderate cat experience Will be most comfortable with an adult only home Bonded Pair Ok with other cats Both need an inhaler Needs to be indoor only Step aside, Batman and Robin. See you later, peanut butter and jelly. It’s time to meet the greatest duo ever – Thunder and Broccoli! These quirky tabby boys are ready to fill your home with love, cuddles, and entertaining antics. Thunder is a big boy with an even bigger personality. Friendly, affectionate, and confident, this lovebug craves attention and wants to be up close and personal with his people. He is a major lap cat, and his foster reports that he “sometimes sleeps in my arms with his paws wrapped around my neck and kisses my face.”  He eagerly approaches new people and makes a beeline for any item that catches his eye. He happily chats away with people and cats alike, and loves a good snooze in a sunny window. Thunder will let you know when he is done being pet or needs to play — so knowing to watch his body language is key. Broccoli (the all brown tabby) is Mr. Popularity, the rare cat who gets along with everybody. He is friendly with other cats and people – to Broccoli, people just seem like oversized cats he can befriend. He also loves to play. Wand toys and balls are his favorite and he is an avid hunter of bugs. With intense focus, he will stalk a stray fly around the house for hours. It may sound surprising, but Broccoli’s favorite time of day is when he takes his inhaler! The churu probably has something to do with that, and this makes his asthma incredibly easy to manage. Broccoli is described by his foster as “super soft and pure love.” Thunder entertains everyone with his funny, loud meow that sounds like a cartoon character, his snoring, and his many silly sleeping positions. These buddies share tons of snuggling,  grooming, and playtime. It doesn’t get better than that. Thunder and Broccoli would do best with an easygoing, cat-savvy adopter in an adults-only home with no children. They would be happy to have other cats around as well. Could you be the perfect match for this fun and funny duo? Thunder and Broccoli are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV. Thunder has tested positive for FIV. Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some experience Could join a calm/quiet home with older kids/teens Bonded pair May be okay with other cats Recommend indoor only John and Ted are brothers who make the perfect pair. They sport matching black and white coats, and share an incredibly sweet, strong bond. They eat from the same bowl, explore together, groom each other, and sleep in an adorable heap of black and white fur that makes it hard to tell how many cats you’re looking at. Ted is playful, curious, but may still be a bit shy around people. He loves to play solo with his favorite plastic spring, carrying it in his mouth and swatting it around the floor. He’s eager to explore and leads the way when the brothers go check out a new room or sniff the new package that has arrived. Even when Ted gets spooked and retreats to a favorite hiding place, he’ll be back in a few minutes. He also loves finding unexpected new places to hang out. You never know when you’ll spy him peering at you from inside a bag or over the rim of the bathtub. John is more outgoing and cuddly, and enjoys chasing and wrestling with his brother — but he’ll choose pets over play almost every time. This gentle boy  is helping his brother learn to be braver around people. While Ted will sometimes shy away from pets, when he sees his brother getting affection or curled up on someone’s lap, he feels more comfortable and wants to get in on the action. As their foster said, Ted is “a shy sweetie who loves affection, but needs a little help from his brother to be brave enough to get it.” John and Ted are vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for FeLV and FIV. I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Holding 3 (Cat Alley):2Meet Wonton and Dumpling, a perfectly paired combo of sweet and savory!  Dumpling is the warm, gooey center of this duo—friendly, headbutt-happy, and always ready for pets. Wonton, on the other hand, is a little crispier around the edges, preferring to hang back at first. But with a few treats (Churu, anyone?), she starts to soften right up.  These bonded sisters may not be high-energy cats right off the bat, but if you're looking for a couple of cuddle-ready companions who will happily lounge by your side, these two are the perfect comfort food for the soul. Story
ACAMPO, CA (near Lodi): Hello! My name is Spot. It’s because I’ve got these cool black spots mixed in with my white coat. Very stylish, don’t you think? Well, I’m a stylish dude. Not only are my tuxedo markings always in fashion but I make all sorts of cute noises when I play—little meows and other squawks  https://youtu.be/Hj3q7TGMioE I really love to play with other kitties, but I would also be fine as a single kitty. I can be shy when I first meet people, but with a little patience and maybe a treat (I am particularly fond of Temptations treats) I will warm up. Once I’m comfortable with you, I will come right over with my tail in the air for some head rubs and scratches. I was born in August 2019. I have been neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FELV and am up to date on all my shots. I am living in a private foster home so if you would like more information, please text or call Karen at 209-329-2001 and she can tell you all about me. You can fill out an adoption application online at https://forms.gle/obNDXM5Q4SbNNDH67 and once you are approved, we can meet via video chat!  October 26, 2024, 8:18 pm

Story
Dobby is a very loved and loving cat! she is very affectionate and enjoys nothing more than snuggling and spending time with her family. She has been indoor/outdoor in the past, currently spending time only indoors since moving to an urban area. She is talkative, especially when greeting you after coming home from a separation. She has lived with other cats, but seems to enjoy being the only cat the most. She has lived with children and is gentle. She currently lives with a large dog. She can be skiddish with loud noises. She had a health scare about 2 years ago when she was diagnosed with possible skin cancer on her nose, when she lived in New Mexico and was in the sun a lot. She had a lesion removed from her nose, and has had no issues since then, however her nose has the scarred appearance you can see on the photos.

Story
Bell and Johnson are brothers born in August, adopted from the SPCA in December. They are both sweet kittens who love to play with each other. They are well behaved for the most part and have no issues with potty training, food, biting, etc. They do have an adorable little sneeze. I am looking to rehome them only because my work schedule has changed and I will be home a lot less and dont have time to care for them the way they deserve. They are affectionate, curious and loving. Like playing with wands, boxes and activity boards. Since they are a bonded pair I am looking to rehome them together. Bell is shy and will take a minute to warm up but once he does he is adventurous, sweet and likes belly rubs. Johnson will come say hi right away, likes to cuddle and is food motivated. I can offer a water fountain, food dispenser, toys, treats, litter box, cat condo, scratch pad, and more. I am eager to rehome them so please reach with Qs. Thank you for considering bringing them home.
