Story
"I'm Smokey, a big-hearted and big-boned guy who came from a stressful situation and am ready to join a new family. My perfect home will be sweet and calm, to match my very chill personality. I'm a true lover at heart. I rather be soaking up affection than out exploring. I do like to play and like rolling on my back for belly rubs! I'm only about 2-3, with many years of love to give. I'm thriving here, but you know what would make me even happier? Finding a forever home where I can grow old with someone who'll cherish and love me! Let's make it a purr-manent thing! If you are looking for a handsome hunk, come meet me!" ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Send us a message here OR email us at macoupincountyac@gmail.com. Story
Lola is a lovely, gorgeous orange little girl, about 7 months old. She came to us as a very scared stray kitty fand has recently starting blossoming into her own gentle, kind personality. She will certainly grow into her ears when she gets older and will fill out nicely, we are positive. Lola is in Kitty City right now so the little ones in Kitten Corral do not overwhelm her. She is gaining confidence as each day passes with our staff helping her every step of the way. Lola will do best in a quiet home with another young, playful kitten or a teenager that is very respectful of her space. We want to make sure Lola continues on her journey to trust humans and other animals but slowly and on her own terms. She truly is a real beauty now. We can only imagine her when she's fully grown! ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Send us a message here OR email us at macoupincountyac@gmail.com. Story
Tilly is a dandy! Her owner surrendered her back in January. We are happy to have her but can't believe she's still here! About 18 months old, this girl LOVES her back rubbed and arches her back with every pet she gets. Tilly can be held and carried, and of course, loves laps and cuddle time. She lives in kitty city and has a serene outlook on life. Tilly is very quiet and totally enjoys chillin' out in the sunshine...in fact, she could be named Chilly Tilly! She is beautiful, very sweet and has THE cutest black smudge on her little pink nose. She is dreaming of a calm family or a senior to spend her days with. If you are ready for a calm buddy to ready to watch Dumb & Dumber or listen to Beatles hits with you, come meet Tilly! ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Story
One the most lovable boys ever! Bob is pretty near perfect, in our eyes-- and his bobbed tail makes him even more lovable. Sadly, Bob came to us with a horribly scratched face and needed A LOT of vetting, including an IV for severe dehydration. Fast forward to today, Bob is so forgiving! We have promised Bob a wonderful future with a beautiful family in a loving home. Bob is good other kitties and will test him with dogs upon request. He will be good with kids who are respectful of his space. Bob is a cuddler, content with being held! One volunteer says, "Bob is always one of the first to greet me when I come into kitty city. He’s sweet and snuggly and anyone would be lucky to have him join their family!" Could you be his forever perfect family? If you are looking for a playful, affectionate cuddly cat, come meet Bob! ............. We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Send us a message here OR email us at macoupincountyac@gmail.com. Story
Styx came to us as a stray but she sure didn't let a little outside time affect her true personality. Styx is a joy to be around, is very loving, wants ALL of the pets in Kitty City and is absolutely stunning. Styx can often be seen all stretched out sunning in our front windows or on the cat tree where her big girl body takes up the entire shelf. Styx doesn't mind because she is a girl that likes what she likes and makes no exceptions for it. She will be great with other cats and kids and can be dog tested if necessary. She's an all around rock star! ........... Please come meet this sweet soul soon! (We keep our posts up-to-date.) We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, on a first-come/first serve basis. The EASIEST and QUICKEST way to make an appointment is to click the blue "Book Now" button at the top of our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/maccoanimalcontrol. Story
Pearl is a beauty! She was relinquished along with her 5 kittens from two different litters. Pearl was single mom who had to pack her bags with her kids and move to the shelter. Her babies flourished and were adopted weeks ago. This beauty did not let all this drama get her down. Nope! Pearl is proud of her kids and is now very ready to find her own family that will love and dote on her...and she's ready to return that affection! Pearl is good with other kitties, and will be ok with a laid back dog and kind, respectful kids. (She can be shy meeting new people at times; which is understandable. When you are stunningly beautiful, you want to be sure of people's intentions!) Otherwise, she pretty easy going and truly is a dream girl. ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
