Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hello, I’m Erebus! I’ve got a “Little Rascals” style eye patch marking and am almost 50/50 black and white! I am a gentle giant and quite shy, but once I get to know you, I would like some head pets and a few belly rubs. Please be very patient with me. I enjoy playing with fishing toys and wrestling with my best friend, Kabuki. I get along well with other cats. I am not sure how I feel about dogs since I have never met one, but I did grow up on a farm, so I have most likely met other animals. I’d love to become one of your family, as long as you have a quieter home and are willing to give me some time and space to feel safe. I am not really what you might call a lap cat, but I am sweet as pie.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hiya, I'm Pepper!   I was found outside laboring when a good samaritan brought me inside and found me rescue. I went to the ER vet and I had an emergency c-section and hysterectomy. I went into premature labor and was having trouble - they tried to save the kittens but they were too premature.    Now I am ready for my forever home. I love to get pets, knead dough, and hang around with my foster dad. I am a playful, affectionate gal. I do well with young kittens, but not a fan of older cats and please NO dogs. I am afraid of the loud noises the dogs make and don't really care for those guys. Looking for humans to hang out with and play with me. Do you have a lap I can frequent? I'll cuddle with you. Give me love and I will return it ten-fold.   If you would like to meet me fill out an application!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. I am enjoying the second life I was granted, and I would love to find a permanent home with one or more of my kitty friends. I just need to find the right family who are comfortable with my medical past and willing to put in the effort to care for an immunocompromised baby with a penchant for getting in some trouble! Hello, I’m Kodama! My foster parent named me after the tree spirits in Princess Mononoke because I have a permanent head tilt. I am a special needs kitty because I am both deaf and immunocompromised. I was found on a freezing autumn night outside a hotel, and the vet told us I had FIP. Although FIP is nearly always fatal, my foster parent and the rescue did not give up on me! They began the rigorous process of helping me heal, and after many treatments, I am happy to say I am doing amazing!!    Despite my rough beginnings, I am a ball of energy! My foster parent thinks I have the energy of 3 kittens sometimes! The only kitty in the house who can roughly match my playfulness is Last Day Dog Rescue foster and my friend, Kabuki! Sometimes Erebus will play with me, too. Because I am deaf, I have trouble picking up on clues when I play too rough. Please be patient with me. If I get too riled up or accidentally bite, please distract me with a toy, and I will be happy to pounce on that!   I require a home with no children as I am a master escape artist, barreling through doorways, jumping into danger (like an open oven!!), and generally testing the limits of my 9 lives. That said, my favorite thing to do besides play is cuddle! I will fall asleep on your lap while you play games and curl up in your arms while you sleep in bed. I love being carried around in a sling, too! Washing the dishes? I'll help! Folding the laundry? I'm in!   I am enjoying the second life I was granted, and I would love to find a permanent home with one or more of my kitty friends. I just need to find the right family who are comfortable with my medical past and willing to put in the effort to care for an immunocompromised baby with a penchant for getting in some trouble!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hi! I'm Bullet aka Bronx. I was adopted out as a kitten, but was returned recently because I was having a hard time adjusting to some new people in my home. I am a large boy weighing around 15 pounds! I LOVE scratches and being brushed. I also love to lounge in the cat tree or in the window. I do well with other cats, dogs, and kittens. I tend to stay away from dogs and prefer them to give me my space, but I have cohabitated with them before. I would love a forever home where I can lounge around, lay with you, play, and be loved. Story
Robin's Egg might not be the sweet treat you find in your Easter basket, but she is a sweet girl looking for her forever home! Robin's Egg is a social gal that can generally be found begging for attention from whoever is walking by! She's social and sweet, a lovable lady with so much to offer! Robin's Egg does have a sassy side though and can get over stimulated and easily agitated. She'll do best in a home with older kids who can respect her need for space. And might be best with an experience adopter who can read her body language and know when she needs a break. Robin's Egg is generally a low key, laid back gal that likes to sunbathe and chirp at the birds! She just might be a cat that needs a little space now and then.

Story
Say hi to Marmee! This little lady came in as a stray cat with her kittens. They needed some medical care then spent some time in a foster home while mom took great care of her babies! But they're all grown up now and have moved on to their forever home and mom is ready to do the same! Marmee might look like she's always cranky and has something to say, but it's just her eyes! She's actually a super sweet and affectionate cat that loves attention! She can be a tad shy at first and takes a few pets to warm up, but once she does she's a lovable and goofy girl with an easy going and low key personality. If you're looking for a low maintenance companion who can offer some quality friendship, Marmee is your girl!

Story
Meet Nora! This little lady came in as a fearful young kitten. She clearly missed some socialization and needs your help to learn how to navigate this human centric world! Nora isn't generally a snuggly kitten and she won't typically come right out to play. But with continued socialization in her new home and some reassurances that she's safe and sound, Nora should come out of her shell a bit! She's a shy kitten who doesn't like a lot of commotion and isn't fond of over handling so she'll need to go home with older kids. But Nora will likely enjoy a social resident cat to help build her confidence and show her what being a companion cat is all about! So if you've got some time on your hands, and maybe a cat at home looking for a friend, then Nora might just be your girl!

Story
This adorable kitten is Downy! Named for your favorite fabric softener since she was found in a laundry hamper, Downy is a special kitten looking for a special home! Snuggle arrived with her litter mates as very scared kittens that clearly missed some socialization. They were hissy and fearful, and needed a lot of help to get ready for adoption. Downy has perked up quite a bit and can be a playful and outgoing girl, but is still on the shy side. Because of this, Downy will need to go home with older kids who can respect her boundaries and we recommend she go home to a social resident cat that can help build her confidence and show her the ropes, as well as keeping her company when she's not feeling social with people around her. With patience, time and some continued socialization at home, Downy should thrive to be a great companion! Even though she'll likely always be on the shy side, we're hoping to see her be a low maintenance companion for someone who might not be looking for a clingy or needy cat buddy!
