Story
Cricket is a 3 year old neutered, domestic shorthair kitty. He is 4 paw declawed. He is my elderly grandma’s cat, who had a recent injury, and is therefore unable to care for him. He is a very good boy that is always wanting pets and treats. He should be in a home that will always be available for lots of play sessions. He has never been around cats, dogs, or children, so we’re not sure how he would be with them.

Story
This is Toby! He was the kitten of a family barn cat down in rural Missouri. My family decided to keep him. He was born in 2011 and is declawed. He was declawed around 1-2 years old. He has been a beloved family pet for years until he started to be neglected and my partner and I took him on about two years ago. We’ve been getting his care for medical issues that were ignored for years. Last year he had some teeth removed due to infection, but he can eat dry food and does prefer it. He also has irritable bowel disease and needs medication for it. He’s insanely sweet and affectionate and gets along well with other cats, especially kittens and other declawed cats. He hasn’t been around dogs. He’s a happy boy, he just needs medication and we aren’t able to afford it along with moving. He will need to be isolated until his medication kicks in just to prevent any accidents and to get used to a new environment. My family will have him euthanized in we are unable to rehome him.

Story
Hi!! My name is Abby. I was rescued from Jefferson County Animal Control along with my 4 kittens. The kittens have all been adopted, but I am still looking for my furever home. I am a very pretty, quiet girl who usually minds her own business. I am very shy and will hide when visitors come over. I spend most of my time on a perch where I can nap in peace. Usually I just watch all the activity, but occasionally I will chase the laser light. My favorite thing to do is to nap on my foster Dad’s lap. I’ll even share his lap with other kitties.I’m not a cuddly cat, but will come to you when I want attention. I get freaked out if you try to pick me up, so you have to wait for me to come to you. I used to be very skittish but have come a long way recently. I will even let you walk up and pet me most of the time now. Just a few months ago I would have run away and hidden.I would probably be happiest being the only cat in the house, but I might consider sharing my humans with another cat if it wasn’t aggressive. I am used to dogs and I don’t really mind them. We just leave each other alone. I have not been around children, but would not do well with them since I am so shy and afraid to be picked up. I might be happiest in a quiet home with an older adult (probably a man) who would love to spoil me and give me a nice comfy lap to sleep on.I will need a special family who is patient with me while I get used to new surroundings. I’m not too adventurous when it comes to new things. But if you give me time I just might be your new lap cat!My adoption fee is $75.00 and includes all testing, spaying, microchipping. I am also up-to-date on shots. If you’d like to meet me, please contact my foster Mom. I don’t go to adoption events because I get too scared there, so we would need to make other arrangements to get acquainted. I’ll be ready when you are!DeniseFoster Mom314.322.5607 - celljdbaisch@att.netWe only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Story
I have a best friend Stublet. Maybe you would consider adopting us both!Dustin is big cat. He is very active and loves to run up and down the stairs and play with balls. He's not so much of a lover but more of a manly- like cat. He does like sitting on laps. If you want him to want him to go somewhere all you need to do is to put dry food in a bowl and shake it and he will follow you anywhere. He gets along with other cats and dogs. Please contact my foster mom Kate at 314-550-5523We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Story
Meet these beautiful tuxies Scout and Trax. They are a bonded pair of sisters who are looking for a loving home since their human recently passed. They are 11 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccines and declawed front AND back paws. Their vet records are available and able to transfer to their new vet once rehomed. Because of their human's illness, they have been contained to a bedroom for a while and skittish but will hopefully warm up once regular human contact is given. They will need either a new home or foster as soon as possible. Food and litter will be supplied if fostering. Scout and Trax are part of Mercy Hospices Pet Peace of Mind program. We help to rehome our patients' pets to keep them from entering a shelter and/or being euthanized. Can you help Scout and Trax find their new loving home?
