Their foster mom believes they need to stay together to live their best lives.Magpie will perch on the arm of her chair or on the back, or cuddle with Ginny on the ottoman. They like to sit very close when she sits on the floor with them for playtime. Ginny will roll on her back and purr for belly rubs. They especially like to chase the laser light and they like to watch through the patio door for squirrels, in the morning.

Aspen came to us as a kitten along with her four siblings. They were a wild bunch and quite feisty at first! While the rest of the family tamed down and headed back to the shelter for adoption, Aspen never learned to trust us entirely. She will curl up next to us on the desk while we work and supervise anyone cooking in the kitchen. Shee enjoys chasing after toys for you but he would prefer to not be touched. Shee just wants to be your shadow, although sometimes we wake up to find her snuggled up against our legs. She adores all other cats and tolerates the dog. ??

Mei Mei is about 1 year old, litter box trained and cute as a button. She’s smaller than her brothers Bruno and Maui, giving the impression she’s still a baby. She’s very playful in nature but can be very shy in the beginning. She can be skittish around small children and large dogs, but gets along with older children and medium and small dogs. Along with her brothers she also lives with other male and female cats and plays very well with them. Mei Mei has lived inside her whole life. Mei Mei is such a good girl and would fit nicely in good home. Is yours the home for her?? Here's your most important question of the day: Would you swipe right on Julie? Julie is back at our Kitty Cottage after some well-deserved time spent in a foster home, and she's more than ready to make the transition into her forever home! This independent but affectionate girl has all the chunk, spunk, curiosity, and flair that you could ask for. While she believes herself to be of royal status, Julie does tolerate the presence of other cats in the household, as long as they remember to respect her space and are pretty chill like she is. (Slow introductions are key!) While Julie isn't exactly a lap cat and won't smother you with her very sizable belly (since queens sit on their own thrones), she's always happy to lay on the couch or bed next to you to keep you company while you're doing your own thing. She also enjoys following you around, especially to the kitchen (kitchen = treats, after all). Cat toys bring out Julie's playful side, especially if it's a laser pointer! While she tends to be a little shy at first, Julie is truly a quirky, fun girl to hang out with once she knows you're there as her friend. (Oh, and might we add...she LOVES to work the camera. She changes her profile picture pretty much every day.) Sadly, Julie is also now our longest resident in our Kitty Cottage, having been here for almost 1 whole year now. It's far past time for her to know what a forever match feels like. Meet Emma Pearl! Emma is about 1 year old and was found starving and abused in a busy restaurant parking lot. There was a group of young teens that were kicking her around trying to get her to leave the premises. The restaurant owner said that she had been there for a couple of weeks begging and searching for food. A good Samaritan took her in because she couldn't let her continue to be abused. The kitty was nervous at first but quickly warmed up.Emma has a strong personality. She is very playful and affectionate. She is constantly poking at the other cats (she has 3 older cats in her foster home) even if she knows she's going to receive a grumpy reaction back. She is curious, a little feisty, and playful. She wants to be with nonstop company. It's almost like she has magical powers. Even if she's nowhere in sight, she can be at any place by your side within seconds. She wants to be with you so much so, that when she sees us leaving the house, she runs to the car and tries to get in with us! She is full of love and craves affection and attention. Because of her life on the streets, she can be found searching for food often. Do not, we repeat, do not leave food unattended. She will help herself. From her abuse, she is also dealing with trust issues on occasion. She can be snappy if she is petted in the wrong spot, so please be patient with her. To everyone’s surprise, Ms Pearl was pregnan! She was so thin at the time, no one could tell. She had her kittens within 4 weeks of her rescue. She delivered the kittens like a champ and was a great momma to her babies. The funny picture of her sitting on the couch was taken two days before she delivered. All of her babies have been adopted and now it’s time for Emma Pearl to get her own forever home!Emma Pearl has lots of love to give and is a terrific cat. Meet Momma! Momma showed up in a good Samaritan’s yard one day with her litter of seven babies! We think she’s around 4 years old. She’s a super sweet kitty who loves to explore. She also loves to lounge around and find the best sun spots to lay in. She’s more relaxed than playful, and would be a great buddy to chill with. She doesn’t mind her foster dog brother, and is good with her kittens, but seems to appreciate her alone time away from them. Momma has done a great job raising her babies, and now wants a person of her own to spoil and give her the love she deserves. All hail Queen Maxine! Despite her current royal status, this sweet kitty has a true "rags-to-riches" backstory -- she was spotted multiple times hunting for her own food and avoiding busy highway traffic off of Highway 94. She was thankfully caught by a caring soul, and has made it clear that she is MUCH happier being pampered indoors with comfy cat beds. While we are unclear on her exact age, we believe that she is about 5-6 years old. This laid-back, lavish feline adores attention, and will meow for affection when she sees you. While pets and snuggles bring her joy, she isn't the biggest fan of being held for too long -- she would rather sit on her throne alongside you! She would do best in a home with older children who understand to give her her space whenever she may need it -- queens need their beauty rest, after all! To add onto that, Queen Maxine would be able to tolerate sharing her forever castle with a feline or canine roommate, as long as they, too, know when to give her the space she needs and respect her boundaries. In fact, Queen Maxine would love it if her cat tower came with a moat...with torches on each side of the entryway...and maybe jewel-encrusted bowls for her food and water. (Not required, obviously. But the girl can dream! ) This absolute gem of a cat promises to be the best queen any household could ask for -- her reign will be packed full of pets, meows, and love!

Meet Leo! Leo is a 7.5 year old white short haired cat. He is a big boy, but does not over eat. He is shy, but curious and usually stays a good distance away from any commotion. He is happy to please as long as he has a comfy place to lay and fresh water. He loves treats. He tolerates children and will usually remove himself from them. He does get scared easily. Leo had a teeth cleaning in October 2020. Unfortunately, his vet closed about six months ago and we do not get have those records He is allergic to Revolution Plus, but the regular Revolution is fine for him. Leo is neutered. Leo’s sister Lucy is also up for adoption. While they do not have to stay together, if you are looking for a beautiful duo, look no further! Mama Mo is a sweet cat- she has lived a tough life outdoors after her owners moved away. She was a good mama to her kittens (all adopted and loving their new homes)! She is learning to trust people again- and can sometimes be a little spicy if you pet her past her allotted timespan (which only she is privy to).  She had a brief stint at Whisker Station, but that wasn't her jam- she was not at all aggressive with the other cats but prefers a quieter more laid back vibe. So now she is back with us in her favorite chair! She deserves the absolute best- a family (without young kids) that really understands and appreciates cat behavior as she does have a few quirks! I think she would be fine with non-aggressive dogs or cats. She is pretty much ignores the other animals in our home- a dog and 3 other cats.  Mo loves to be brushed and pet, but does not enjoy if you put your face close to her. Shorthaired older man who needs a person to love. Buster is looking for someone he can take care of and show his appreciation. Buster is an active boy for his age and loves to play. He get's along with other kitties if they are not overly aggressive and calm dogs. Buster has thyroid issues and is on meds twice daily. Felix is a large, sweet adult kitty. He loves attention and sitting on your lap.
