Meet Cherokee - a beautiful black cat with a heart of gold! Cherokee is looking for a special forever home where she can be the star of the show. She is a unique kitty who needs a little extra love and attention, but trust us, she's worth it! Cherokee has a bit of a tough past and as a result, she needs to be the only pet in the household. She's looking for a family who will understand and respect her need for space and independence. She's a bit unsure of new people and places at first, but once she gets to know you, she loves to snuggle and give kisses. Cherokee is currently on anxiety medication to help her feel more comfortable and secure in her surroundings. Her new family will need to be experienced cat owners who are willing to continue her medication regimen and provide her with the loving care she deserves. Despite her past, Cherokee is a sweet and affectionate girl who just needs the right family to bring out her true personality. She loves to play with toys and enjoys spending time basking in the sunshine. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will love you unconditionally, Cherokee is the girl for you. She's ready to find her forever family and start her new life full of love and happiness. Apply to meet Cherokee today and see for yourself what a special girl she is!

Story
Hi, my name is Babs, and I'm a very sweet 2-year-old male tabby. As a kitten, I was rescued by Tenth Life (Awesome rescue by the way!). I came with deformed rear legs. They tried all they could to help fix them but were told I'd be better off without them. So now I don't have my rear legs, but that doesn't stop me from getting around and going where I want! I do however need help expressing my bladder. I'm not able to empty my bladder completely on my own. I don't currently use a litter box, but my foster mom is working with me to see if I can use one in the future. I get help expressing my bladder 1-2 times a day. While I may give some bites to signal foster mom I don't want her to squeeze anymore, I do feel better after it's done. I am able have a bowel movement on my own. I hope my special needs don't turn you away before you have a chance to meet me because I am very sweet and love pets, and snuggling. I get along with other cats and dogs. Some active big dogs can be too much, so I just go on about my business. I like to play with toys especially if you help me and play too. I'm not that into cardboard scratching but I do like carpet scratching posts/trees. I would love to meet you and show you how sweet I am. Maybe my furever home could be with you.

Story
**GERALDINE'S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED** Meet Geraldine! This doe-eyed gal is as sweet as pie and she is ready to find her people. Geraldine had a rough start. She was born with a condition known as "swimmer syndrome," which is a congenital condition that affects the limbs. She also had a painful injury to one of her hind legs which required amputation, but thankfully she has recovered completely from that surgery! Due to the swimmer syndrome, she doesn't have full control of her remaining back leg, but Geraldine doesn't let that slow her down! She can run, play, climb stairs and cat trees, and chase toys like nobody's business. And don't let her fool you - Geraldine is FAST! Geraldine is incredibly sweet and friendly. This girl loves everyone she meets and loves to be around people. She doesn't much like being held, but she loves company and will happily curl up in your lap for a snuggle. She loves to roll over and show off her belly, and her foster mom promises it's not a trap - she loves a good belly rub! Geraldine makes a cute little chirping sound when you're nearby, which is her way of saying "Hi, I see you and I'd like attention! In addition to being oh-so-sweet, Geraldine is also super playful. She loves to zoom around the room and chase her favorite toys, which include a plush Valentine's toy, a crinkle ball toy, and a few colored spring toys. She also loves her ball-track tower and will eagerly chase a wand toy. When she wants to play, she'll carry a toy over to you and drop it at your feet - and if that isn't cute enough, she also plays fetch! Yes, you read that right, a cat that plays fetch! Adorable, right?! Geraldine does have some ongoing medical needs that we want to make sure potential adopters are aware of. When she is awake, she uses the litterbox without any problem. However, when she is asleep she does sometimes leak small amounts of urine. Geraldine's foster mom suggests providing her with sleeping surfaces that can be easily washed, and using puppy training pads to protect any soft furniture that she'll have access to. She gets prescription food to help support her urinary tract health and is very good about eating it. Geraldine also takes a daily joint supplement which can easily be mixed with some yummy wet food. Geraldine is a very special little girl and we know she'd make a wonderful companion for someone that's looking for a sweet, silly, playful cat. Everyone who has met Geraldine has just adored her, and we know you will too! Apply to meet Geraldine today! www.tenthlifecats.org/adopt

Story
Meet the adorable boy Pimento! While he's still quite timid, he's made a great deal of progress in his foster home and is slowly but surely learning to trust his human caregivers. He enjoys spending quiet time in a closet that he's claimed, but he jumps out for feeding time and allows pets while he eats! He chirps when he's lounging in the window and likes attention then too! He doesn't like being approached too closely when he's on the floor and his foster is standing - too much for now he says! He's also recently started spending time cuddled up on the couch with his foster and he could even be described as an attention hound and a lap cat!! All on his terms, of course. Pimento is a special, chatty guy and is going to take a very patient and loving person when it comes to his forever family. He's not met many new people and when he has he isn't too interested. However, since he arrived at his foster home in spring of 2023, he has shown that he can learn to trust. It just takes time. He would do best in a very quiet and mellow home with a family that doesn't mind letting him adjust and become his cuddly self on his own terms over some time. Pimento enjoys playing with his mice and ball toys that he can bat around and show who's boss. He's not met other pets while at Tenth Life. If you think your home is a good fit for this sweet boy, apply to adopt him at www.tenthlifecats.org/adopt. For his first meet and greet, we may recommend that it be done on a virtual platform like Zoom or Facetime. That way, his potential family can see him without him hiding at first.

Meet Frances: Your Lovable Orange Feline Companion! Hello, dear pet lover! My name is Frances, and I'm a delightful 15-year-old front-declawed orange female cat looking for my forever home. My contentment lies in the warmth of your company and the love we share. My front declawed paws make me the perfect indoor companion, ensuring I'm always safe and secure. If you're seeking a loyal and loving feline friend to share your life with, I'm the one for you! Let's create unforgettable memories together as we embark on this beautiful journey of companionship. Meet Billy: an adorable black cat with wide green eyes. Billy is a curious, lovable, loyal, and silly companion looking for his forever home. Billy loves to be wherever the action is at home. He is the perfect companion to hang out with, and he loves to entertain by playing with his toys or receiving belly rubs. He is not too fond of strangers, but once he gains trust he loves to be held and given company. Billy does great on normal kibble and is litter trained. Billy does have FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which means he is not recommended to be in contact with other cats as illnesses can affect him more drastically than they would a normal cat. Besides that, he does not need any extra care for his condition. If you are looking for a loving and fun pet, apply to meet Billy today!
