Story
Dory was a rescue that we got during an adoption day at PetSmart. She had a fish hook stuck in her paw when she was found. We named her Dory because she has one orange leg (and since she's a girl we couldn't name her Nemo). Dory is very mild mannered and can be skiddish at times. She doesn't like too quick of movements or she will run. She has been raised in the house with 2 dogs, other cats, and children. We have had her since my daughter was 2, but we are no longer able to keep her. She is currently about 9 years old. She is very sweet and loves cuddling and "making bicsuits". She loves fleece materials. I pray she goes into a good home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hurricane Helene survivorHurricane Helene survivor, WINK, is an all around fabulous kitty! This 5 year old champion biscuit maker is ready to challenge you to a bake-off-competition.....which he will definitely win since no one on planet Earth makes as many biscuts as this guy! He's very chill and loves to snuggle whilst chatting about the daily dog antics he's witnessed. Note that Wink is FIV+, but don't let that fact deter you one bit! Being FIV+ means is his immune system is compromised, so you'll need to keep a slightly more watchful eye on his health than you do with your FIV- kitty. As long as your cats get along and don't fight, FIV+ and FIV- cats can live together without any risk to each other. Wink must be a strictly indoor cat since there is a big risk of cat fights outside. You can apply to adopt Wink at: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 19, 2024, 10:26 am

Story
My official Alley Cats & Angels name is Monkey, but please call me Maxie! I'm a gentle, laid-back girl who loves peace and quiet. I get along great with the other adult cats in my foster home and enjoy zooming around and playing with them. When it’s nap time, you’ll probably find me curled up under the bed covers, my favorite cozy spot. I always make sure to let my foster mom know when it's time to eat—especially when there are treats involved! One of my favorite activities is sitting by my foster mom while she works on her computer, soaking up chin scratches and welcoming belly rubs. I show my appreciation by making lots of biscuits. If you're looking for a sweet and loving companion, I'm your girl! Est. DOB: September 12, 2013 Eligible for Foster-to-Adopt: Please ask about our FTA Program. Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.

Story
Sweet, Independent Lady Seeking a Cozy Companion! Looking for a gentle, mature gal with a heart full of love? That’s me! I’m not a lap cat, but I adore head and back scratches (on my terms, of course). I’ll follow you from room to room, keep you company at bedtime (on my own cozy spot), and maybe even groom your hand to show my affection. My hobbies? String toys, tunnels, crunchy treats, and birdwatching from a sunny window. I’m the purrfect match for someone who values a loyal, low-key companion. Let’s enjoy life together—with plenty of beauty sleep for us both! Est. DOB: July 25, 2011 *Eligible for Foster-to-Adopt—Ask us about our FTA program. Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with with shelter paid registration.

Story
I'm quite the dasher-after tossed toys, laser lights, or a shaken food container! I'm great at chasing a laser pointer unless a pesky playmate insists on getting in the way. My favorite toy is a wand with a tiny ribbon and a bell. When I hear it, I pounce! I'm a gentle guy who adores affection. I may need a little time and patience to feel at ease, but once I am, I'll insist on head rubs and even nudge your fingers if you stop! Back scratches feel so good I'll arch my back in the perfect downward "cat" yoga position. My siblings and I were found in a lumber pile and pros at hiding and playing together. However, my favorite time may be nighttime when I can snuggle up with my human and gently purr us both to sleep! Est. DOB: April 24, 2024 Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with shelter paid registration.

Story
Due to unforeseen circumstances we find ourselves having to Rehome our sweet kitty, she has been with us since she was a kitten. Luna may take some time warming up to a new environment and people but once she does she loves to sit on your lap and just sleep. Especially if there are blankets involved, she loves to chase lasers and go after anything crinkly. She likes to find a “spot” and just stays there most of the time if cuddles aren’t an option. She’s fine with our 80 dog, and we used to have another cat that passed away a few years ago who she tolerated.. she’s not a huge fan of other cats but after an adjustment period has been fine with anything. We have an infant who had pulled her tail a few times and she will meow but hasn’t done anything past that so I believe she may do better in a home with no small children. She is 7 years old and is mostly black, she has a white spot on her chest and belly, she is on the smaller side maybe 7-10 lbs.

Story
Sophie is a senior female spayed cat. She weighs approximately 6 lbs. I rescued her and her brother 16 years ago. He has since passed. Sophie is very timid and shy. She is not a lap cat. She does love for you to pet her and she will puuuuurrrr for you (on her terms of course). She would do well in a home that is more quiet and less active. She has not been around another cat since her brother passed 5 years ago. Given time and the right environment, I’m sure she would warm up to another cat. She is not aggressive at all she just prefers a more quiet environment. Puppies and children are too active for her. The reason I’m looking to rehome Sophie is because my husband and I are now retired. We sold our home and we are moving to a senior living community where they dont allow pets. Sophie loves her Fancy Feast cat food and she still uses the litter box and drinks only water. She is not on any medication. Must be a non smoking home.
