Story
Valerie is 2 - 3 years old; we are not sure. She was found outside in a cat colony where a rescue group was feeding. But Valerie was very tame and affectionate. Her foster family describes her as the sweetest, most loving cat. She loves to be picked up and rubs her head against your neck. She is living with other cats in her foster home and would probably prefer a more calm environment. She wants all of the attention from her humans. She did test positive for feline FIV but negative for leukemia. She can live as long as cats which do not have the disease (please check online), cannot spread to to other pets unless there is a deep bite (not spread through grooming, sharing food, water or litter boxes) and cannot spread to humans.

Story
GiGi is approximately 3 years old and weighs about 12 lbs. She does well with dogs and other cats. She loves to be petted and will sleep with her foster family if allowed to. She doesn't like to be picked up but will sit on the couch with you and allow you to pet her for hours. She would fit into any household if it is not too rowdy. Her eyes are either green or golden depending upon the light. She is not spayed yet, but has an appointment.

Story
Timothy was a stray and was not in good shape when he was rescued. Now he is inside and loves it. He has eaten himself to a healthy weight of 7.5 lbs and has all of his vet services. He is very affectionate with his foster family. He loves to snuggle up and get petted around his head and ears. He shows you how happy he is by head-butting your hand. He rides well in a carrier, never misses his litter box, is not bothered by other cats. He will be a wonderful pet for any family. He is estimated to be a little over 2 years old.

Story
Introducing Jelly and Toast, the 6 month old dynamic duo who are the epitome of brotherly love! These inseparable siblings are always by each other's side, whether they're lounging in a cozy spot or embarking on a playful adventure. They are experts at relaxation, but when it's playtime, they are full of energy and enthusiasm. Like most cats, they might need a little time to adjust to a new environment. They get along well with other cats. They can be adopted together or separately, but will never be bored or lonely if they can stay together. Two kittens is always better than one, and not much more responsibility. For more information or an adoption application, contact Nancy Foltz at 704-616-4904 or NEFoltz@Yahoo.com

Story
Arlo was found in a parking lot with other community cats. Even though the colony was being fed, Arlo was starving because of dental problems. He was rescued and received all of his vet services, including having 7 teeth pulled so now he can eat without pain. He is perfectly handsome and healthy, although he has tested positive for FIV. This is not a deadly disease, and is not spread to humans or other cats, even if sharing food and water bowls. Arlo is estimated to be 6 years old. He is very affectionate and loving. He wags his tail like a dog when he is being petted. Contact Nancy Foltz at 704-616-4904 or NEFoltz@Yahoo.com for an application or questions about Arlo.

Story
My rescue story:  My start in life hasn't been great but it sure has been exciting!  A good samaritan was driving casually down a busy 5 lane road when all of a sudden, the car in front of her threw me out the window! into traffic!  Lucky for me the lady saw it happen and literally wrecked her car to avoid hitting me.  I froze and didn't know what to do.  She jumped out of her car and ran to scoop me up from the middle of the road.  Terrified, I found a great place to hide - I crawled up into the dash where no one could reach me.  The lady drove me all the way to a rescue location where they spent around 7 hours trying to coax me out of hiding.  I heard them talking about driving the car to a mechanic to see if they could remove the dash to get me out but I thought that would be too dramatic.  I came out on my own and now live safely and happily with several foster friends.  I am still a shy little guy but I do love to be held and have my belly rubbed.  I'm learning that not all people are like the monsters that threw me out.   For more information, please contact the rescue at tipsandtailsrescuecats@gmail.com. **All cats and kittens are provided age-appropriate vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV), spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and provided flea/tick prevention prior to adoption**no exceptions ##2059373##

Story
Ever wanted to adopt a puppy but no time to commit?  Meet Ashe! This guy identifies as a dog through and through!  He will play fetch with you for what seems like hours, carry toys bigger than his head around for fun, go crazy on the tallest cat tree you can find, and at the end of it all, be the most cuddly boy around.  Ashe, his mom, and siblings were rescued from the outdoor life when the babies were just a couple of weeks old.  At the age of 6 weeks, he underwent emergency surgery for a rectal prolapse and had to be seperated from his family while he healed.  Those were the longest 2 weeks of this little guy's life! He came back to his mom and siblings with so much personality and energy and, most of all, healed from his ordeal - happiest boy ever!  The vet confirms that he should not have lasting issues from his emergency surgery and his foster mom said he is perfect!  Ashe does have a lot of energy and will need a furry companion to wear him out daily.  Please reach out if you would like to meet this fella! **All cats and kittens are provided age-appropriate vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV), spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and provided flea/tick prevention prior to adoption** ##1960220##
