I found Rose with her two siblings abandoned by their mother. They were all starving and scared. Rose had severe eye problems and has had medicine to help. She has to go to a specialist to see about surgery. She has hair growing on the inside of her eyelids. She is extremely sweet and loves to be held. She is great with children and everyone. She is extremely shy but once she gets comfortable she is so loving. Please give this sweet girl a home with love.

Story
Bandit and his two sister were abandoned by their mother. They were starved and scared. He is very shy at first but grows comfortable pretty quick. He is extremely snuggly and lovable. He loves being cradled like a baby. He is one of the sweetest kittens I have ever met. He doesn’t play much because toys kinda scare him. He loves playing with his sisters though.

On occasion, inquiries are not forwarded automatically to our rescue by Adopt a Pet. If you would like to inquire about one of our kitties, please reach out directly to the rescue. Thank you! This pretty young lady found herself a mommy and dumped on the streets. She has had a challenging beginning, yet she is now safe and healthy with our rescue. Bailey is understandably shy and fearful, and her perfect forever home is one that is calm with no young children. Adoption events are stressful for this beauty, so we are happy to set up a meet and greet. Could you be the person to bring this girl the love she deserves? Bailey has had age-appropriate vetting, is FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and has been spayed. FREE wellness visit with adoption. Saving Southern Kitties has the most comprehensive vetting standards for adoption. Story
Odin is 7 years old. Of the five cats that lived here, Odin was the first to greet a stranger, the first to climb in your lap, and the first to climb in your arms to be carried. He will win all of the cat fights, but only when he has to defend himself. All in all he has been a great friend and would be a welcome addition to any family, regardless of the amount of pets or people he would be joining.

Story
Please contact foster parent at JeanieNorman@Hotmail.comLinus came into the shelter with his brother Charlie and several other young cats from a situation where they had never been socialized. Since then, Linus and Charlie have been in a foster home with the hope that they would learn to trust people and be able to live as loved members of a family. They have both made wonderful progress and are ready for their forever home. Linus is the more outgoing of the pair. He was the first to allow his foster mom to pet him and he has since become very affectionate and outgoing. He wants to explore and the more freedom he is given, the more he wants. He loves treats and to be brushed and has developed a curiosity of water....in the sink as well as the shower. He likes to sneak inand lick up the water afterwards and will sometimes even go so far as to try and get in the shower while it is turned on. Both Linus and Charlie will need more time to adjust to a new environment than a fully socialized cat would. They feel secure in their foster home but will need to learn that a new home is just as safe. The same holds true for their new people. Linus and Charlie do not have to be adopted together but Charlie would really benefit if they were. He depends on Linus so much and would be lost without him.
