Story
Meet kitty Armondo!!!  He and his litter mates did not have the best start in life.  Their mom was a member of a feral cat colony that lived in a ravine.  People were very concerned about the little family and were finally able to trap them all.  Mom was feral.  The babies were scared but nice.  It just took a little while for them to understand that people are nice and are trying to help them.  Mom was spayed and released and the babies went to a loving foster home.  They have now all been totally vetted and are ready for their forever homes.  Armondo is a sweet but shy 12 week old kitten.  He loves to play with his siblings Leo and Amschel.  They have the biggest time running and playing.  Armondo is a polydactyl/Hemmingway kitten.  He is unique in that he has 5 toes.  It looks like he has hands.  This sweet boy is a very good boy.  It took no time at all to litter box train him.  He would love to have a home with one of his brothers.  If not though he definitely needs a home with another kitten or young cat.  He has been through too much to not have a companion.  Armondo is a special boy with the tiniest of meows.  He will be an excellent companion and addition to your family.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Armondo is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)      November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Hi my name is Ricky Ricardo!  I am an 14 month old young man whose first 8 months were horrific.  I was born on the property of an oil company and lived in the pallets on the property with my brothers.  We were all part of a feral cat colony.  These nice ladies learned about our situation and decided they had to help us.  They started feeding us and then put these long narrow cages out with the most yummy food inside.  I could not resist and in I went.  Well guess what???  I could not get out.  That was very scary.  Then they took me to this building and left me.  That was the vet.  They were actually taking care of me!  That was first for sure.  Miss Becca stepped up to foster me and has helped me to adjust to INSIDE life as a pet.  I love it and have adjusted very well.  I get great food every day and it is never too hot or too cold.  I get along great with the other 5 cats here and am good with her young boys.  We run and play and have the best time together.  We can be adopted with a sibling or by ourselves.  We are all ready for the journey to our forever home.  To be considered for your family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Hi my name is Derrick.  I am an all black and slinky kitty, with a white mark on my chest- wide eyes and a long tail! I am very affectionate with my siblings.  I used to snuggle with them and clean them often! One of my brothers was adopted right after Christmas and the other one was adopted on January 20.  I miss them but am now ready to find my forever home.  Hopefully it will be with you.  I am food driven, love treats and a cozy spot on the couch or near the fireplace. I am a very social boy and I stay out and about the home but can still be a little scared of QUICK human contact.  You just have to go slow.  I do though follow my foster mom around! I like to know where she is and I love her attention.  If you are looking for a snuggle buddy for your kitty this I am your guy!  Derrick is neutered, current on all shots, FIV negative and microchipped.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net,  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Derrick is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Princess Spotify has been with Critter Cavalry Rescue for a month.  She has blossomed and has gained confidence that humans will love her and support all her needs.  She came from a motel resident that found her at the edge of the woods as a young kitten.  She took her in and as she grew a little older, she knew she could not afford to spay her and keep her fed.  Now Critter Cavalry Rescue has this most unusual beauty in their care and she is a showstopper in the looks department for sure.  We have never seen such unusual SPOTS!  She is ready to be adopted and her attributes are many.  Friendly, sweet, but still a little timid, Spotify loves her cat tower and wand toys.  She also loves chasing balls in the plastic interactive tiered tower and she adores head scratches, and rolls over for a quick belly rub.  Good with other cats which is wonderful, this girl is only 7 months old and ready to claim her castle in a new home.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

I found mittens at a jobsite as a kitten, she is approximately 1 year old. She is friendly and litter trained. I can provide a cat house and litter pan if needed. My grandmother just passed away and landlord wants me out by the end of the week:( I don't have the ability to take care of her anymore, although I love her very much. I have her papers for her vaccines and having been spayed. Please help this sweet cat.

Story
This little boy right here - he is a baby. To be completely honest, we know his forever family will be SOLD by that statement alone, because they will get how special and amazing this little boy is. Meet Rhys, a dapper little kitty who has a soft spot in all of our hearts here at Never Less Cat Rescue! In May of 2024, a mama cat gave birth to kittens in our rescue. Rhys was not one of these kittens, but he came to us just a few short days afterwards, found by an owner whos dog had picked him up and had him in their mouth. Rhys was quickly rushed to us, and immediately was taken up by our mama cat who claimed him as her own that second. Rhys was then adopted into the ACOTAR litter! He is the last of the bunch to find his forever home, but he is certainly not the least of them all. We believe Rhys has not found his forever home yet because potential adopters only see his shyness when meeting him. Rhys is a very shy boy, but that is not a bad thing! Rhys is a kitty who absolutely loves other kitties. He has had best friends out of many foster siblings in his time here at the rescue. If any animal is friendly, he is happy to be their friend too. He might be a little nervous if that animal is bigger than him, but he quickly realizes who is and isnt a threat! While Rhys does love other kitties, he forms strong and special bonds with people who give him the opportunity to, and that is exactly what he is looking for in his adopter! Someone who knows that giving him just a little extra time to adjust is okay, and his love is so rewarding. Rhys follows his foster parents from room to room. Sometimes he is right in step with them, ready to be apart of whatever everyone else is doing. Other times, he is content hanging out in the same room as you. When you have sat down on the couch to unwind, or lay down in bed, Rhys will gently come seek you out and spend time with you. He would love to lay on your lap and give you his special deep purrs. Special and rewarding to those willing to give this boy a chance! He doesn't like to be picked up much yet, but he loves chin scratches and being loved on. He is starting to head bunt more and roll on his back when he is happy to see his foster parents. Based on Rhys's interactions with other temporary fosters, we feel confident that Rhys will transition into a new home just fine. He will be shy at first, but within those first two weeks, what a difference you will notice! Rhys is a very low maintenance cat. He has no health problems and is a very well behaved little boy. His meow still sounds so little and cute, just like a kitten. We mean it when we say he is just a baby. Although he may be reaching his first birthday, nothing will stop him from being the cutest little baby ever! Rhys is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He has tested NEGATIVE for FIV, FeLV, and heartworms. Adopters will receive all medical documents and microchip registration information. If interested in Rhys, please submit an adoption application here: https://forms.gle/AgCWUSCFB9Y2Lefx7 Rhys Adoption Fee is $200. Never Less Cat Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We have an adoption event each month at the PetSmart in Mooresville, NC. We do not allow same day adoptions, however, approved adopters may pick up their new baby at an adoption event. This requires a previously submitted and approved adoption application as well as completed and returned adoption paperwork. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at neverlesscatrescue@gmail.com.

Story
This little cutie is looking for her forever home! Meet Sage, a sweet older kitten, born late May of 2024, who is just an absolute darling. She is one of a litter of 5 that made their way to the rescue. This specific litter has a trademark sweetness and there is no short supply of that with Ms. Sage! Sage will be available to meet in person at our adoption events located in Mooresville, NC. She is shy during these events and some first introductions, but she warms up so quickly! Within a day she will be sleeping with you in bed and asking for all the pets and nuzzles. Her foster parents affectionately call her a "little lemur". Shes a sweet girl who still loves to play and gets along great with other friendly kitties and animals! Sage has been in a foster home with a dog that has no interest in interacting with the cats and she does fine alongside her. Sage has not been around any other dog. With that being said, a dog or another animal that may need some adjusting to is perfectly okay with Sage. She can remain reserved till everyone is comfortable and knows one another! Sage spends most of her time tagging along after her foster parents around the house. She is SO happy to be a lap kitty and loves being pet and getting chin and back scratches. Sage is not a very chatty kitty, but she will talk back to you when shes wanting something! This is usually for you to love on her, but she cannot lie, she might ask for treats here and there. Can you blame her? Sage is looking for a forever home with or without other animals in the home. She really would love to have someone to be as obsessed with her as she can be with them. The more people to love her, the merrier, but not a requirement! This little lady is an absolute delight and not high maintenance one bit. She is happy to play with other fur friends and you or be your own special little buddy. If interested in adopting Sage, please fill out an adoption application here: https://forms.gle/AgCWUSCFB9Y2Lefx7 Sage has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She has tested NEGATIVE for FIV, FeLV, and heartworms. Adopter will go home with all vet records and microchip registration information. Please Note: we do not approve same day adoptions at our adoption events. Approved adopters are allowed to pick up their new baby at the adoption event. This requires an application submitted in advance with approval of adoption given by the rescue in advance with all paperwork signed and returned. If you have any questions, please contact us at neverlesscatrescue@gmail.com. Upcoming Adoption Events @ PetSmart - Mooresville, NC: February 16th + March 16th + April 13th

Serena is a fun loving little lady who is looking for her forever home! If you familiar with the trademark, SUPER loving characteristics of Sterling and Spencer, well you are in luck, because Serena is their sister! That same super loving trait is in this little lady as well. Serena and her sister Sage are the last two of this litter looking for their homes, but that is to no fault of their own! Both of these little ladies have that trademark sweetness and will be such a gem in any home! Serena and her siblings were born likely end of May/early June. She is still quite young and has plenty of kitten energy in her as she spends her days playing away her sister and foster siblings. Serena would love to go home with her sister Sage, be adopted into a home with other furry friends already, or into a home where her human(s) are ready and excited to play with her a lot! The perfect home for Serena would be one that would provide her with plenty of enrichment (toys, scratchers, trees, etc) to live her most fun and fullest life and be ready to settle down and snuggle with her at the end of the day. Serena would be most appreciative if her forever family would be willing to let her lick their fingers after dinner and maybe sneak her a treat when the other cats aren't looking. She says she won't tell! Serena has been spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and heartworms. Adopter will go home with all medical records. Serena's adoption fee is $200. If you would like to adopt a friend with Serena, each additional friend is only a $50 adoption fee! If you would like to adopt any of our sweet babies, please submit an application via this link: https://forms.gle/AgCWUSCFB9Y2Lefx7 Approved applicants can schedule a meet and greet ahead of adoption. Story
Meet Orion – A Sweet Soul Ready for Love Orion may look sad, but we promise—he’s not! This 1-year-old survivor has been through a lot, but he’s learning that life is full of love, comfort, and cozy naps. We don’t know much about his past, but we do know he came from a neglectful situation where he likely spent most of his life in a cage. Because of this, he’s still learning how to trust and enjoy affection. At first, he may be a little reserved, but once he warms up, he loves to sit next to you and just enjoy your presence. Orion would do best in a calm home—one with not too many animals or even as a solo kitty where he can continue to grow in confidence without feeling overwhelmed. He’s not a fan of string toys (they seem to make him nervous), but he’s still discovering what playtime means to him. If you’re looking for a gentle, quiet companion who just needs a little patience and love to thrive, Orion is ready to find his perfect match. ? - Located in Mooresville, NC - Apply to adopt today! Story
Trix is a super sweet tuxedo kitty who doesn't let her missing leg slow her down. We've had her for 2.5 years after adopting her from a shelter and our other kitty does not get along with her. We've tried everything to get our tabby to get along and nothing worked. We love Trix. She loves to be pet and will come right up demanding pets. She is good around kids and allows our 3 year old to pet her. She is vocal and loves to have conversations. She does have a touch of that tuxedo sass but it only shows up in her dislike of being picked up and the occasional warning nibble if she doesn't want to be pet. She loves to play with pretty much anything she can find and also loves to run around. She is capable of going up and down stairs and does not have any issues getting around due to her missing leg. You will never find her on one of your counters because that is the only thing high enough she can't jump up on ( she can get up onto chairs and the cat tower fine).

Story
Mel (caramel colored kitty) showed up on our back porch a few months ago. We figure someone had owned him, moved and unfortunately left him to fin for himself. Definitely used to being inside, loves to be held, sit in your lap, eats dry and can food. Uses a litter box, but also goes outside. (Some male cats will spray, but he does not.) I took him to Humane Society of Charlotte, and they checked him out, had him neutered, rabies vaccine and checked for Fel V/FIV (negative). He's also visited Stand For Animals. Would love to find him a stable and loving home. We already have three cats and sometimes he tries to chase one, play, etc. He's probably better by himself or perhaps with one other cat. Not sure about a dog but have a feeling he would adapt.
