I need to find a new home for my mother's cat, Luna. My mother's health has been declining, and after surgery and a long hospital stay, she won't be able to stay in her home anymore. I also have chronic health issues and animals of my own, so I can't take Luna in. My priority right now is caring for my mother. I've reached out to several rescues but haven't had any luck. Luna is a 6-year-old, spayed female cat. She's due for her shots, which I will handle. Luna has always been an indoor cat and has been the only pet, so I'm unsure how she is around other animals. She's a sweet cat with a bit of an independent streak and enjoys attention on her terms. Luna has been a wonderful companion for my mother, making this a tough decision. There will be a rehoming fee, and a vet reference will be required for those interested. Luna is located in Charlotte, NC, and I am willing to travel to find her a good home.
